Patricia
I guess I cleaned my tank a little too good because my blue one is clear now. I just wash them with very warm water with dawn dish liquid. Sometimes it really does not matter the color of the glass if my juice is dark but I enjoy my colors so well I try to put the darker liquids in the clear tank. I've looked around a little but have been unsuccessful in finding a vendor that sells the colored replacement glass. If you know someone who sells them please let me know. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day in Georgia. I hope it is where you are too.
bcartervol98
I keep a 5 pack of KPT 2 glass and Mini Davide glass on hand but its all clear, and thats all I have ever seen available in replacement tanks. One thought though, these are made in China. The color on the glass is a concern to me given the Chinese propensity to use things like lead and such in their paints and dyes. The fact that it wore off causes me even more concern because that means its not the color of the glass, it is a paint of dye applied to the glass to give it a colored tint. Dasfriek
I bought a spare smoke glass for my Aero tank and it's labeled in a Kanger package. I've noticed it get sticky and softish to the touch and I can scratch it with my finger nail. I will put the original back on soon. It seems to be all on the outside also and my juice has never had any issues even in plastic tanks. My PT2 mini has the same glass but it's holding up better, but my nail will scratch in. Imo it's a coating on both and not colored glass. Clear glass will be all I buy anymore.
Compenstine
I have two of the blue ones from Kanger I was not impressed when I saw that it was a coating on the the glass.I see FastTech has replacements that look more like colored glass and not coated glass. Has anyone bought one from them? Patricia

So much bad stuff that comes out of China where there are little to no safety regulations.
