Nico5point0 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Hey everybody... Iv been wanting to try a new set up. Been thinking a carto with a tank. What's everyone's suggestion on a carto and tank setup. I like low resistance I was looking at the Smok low resistance cartos but never tried cartos so I'm not to sure... Thanks everyone for the help
vic120 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Carto tank was the step I took after clero's and before Rebuildables RDA and RTA honesty I eventually tossed all my cartotanks they do not compare to Rebuildables I wish I knew that before hand
Nico5point0 Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 I have a bunch of rebuildables but I just never tried cartos so I wanted to give it a try
Joshuab3687 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Tam, BirdDog, Jeffb. or Bebop would be the best to ask about carto's and tanks.
Love2VapeDaily Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Carto tanks just plain suck. Good flavor but no life to a carto. Not worth the cost when you can get rdas wick and wire for pennies to the dollar.Lightningvape or lightningvaper or whatever the site you can get 25ft of wire and 5ft of wick shipped for $7.09 with tax. 3 Days for delivery. Can't beat that RobChase 1
joe2003 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I never rolled my own smokes and I wont bother with tiny wires and fiddly screws or which wick etc... I use M1A1 Buzz tanks daily with either smok 1.7 ohm or Boge 2.0/3.0 cartos. Fill 'em right the first time then keep 'em wet and they last me 3-4 wks. avg. The best part is they are no more effort than a Zippo lighter. YMMV Vispera and Nico5point0 2
Compenstine Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 But there are those of us that like to tinker with little screws and wicking small wires. LOL hookahhighness and Nico5point0 2
Nico5point0 Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 I love to tinker but sometimes I just get tired of it and want something nice and easy with a good flavor so I wanted to try out carto tanks
Love2VapeDaily Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Making your own coil is about as easy as replacing a protank coil. Simple coils take about the same time to make as screwing a new 1 in.
Joshuab3687 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Nico, back to your original post, I personally haven't used them, but here is a link to an AGR Carto Tank: http://www.steammonkey.com/mobile/product.aspx?ProductCode=agrtank And that same site also sells carto's. If you're really interested in more knowledge about them, you should PM Tam or Bebop for links on how they work.
Nico5point0 Posted March 6, 2014 Author Posted March 6, 2014 Thanks Josh your always very helpfull Joshuab3687 1
Vispera Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 I love the smok 1.5 cartos to me its better them the protanks and easier to grab and go then rebuildable I use http://phiniac.com/cid-4-1/phiniac-tanks.html love the glass tanks and the etching on them is cool Nico5point0 1
