BigClouds1021 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Ok, so I'm wanting to buy a vv/vw mod. I've looked around and I have it narrowed down to 3. I like the itaste vtr( like the box mod/ dif from what I have), the tesla and the V5. I like the look of all of them and they all seem to be good mods. So what do u guys and girls think I should get?
Aquatroy Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I own both the VTR and the Tesla...VTR I loved, big button and easy to read LCD, but she is a heavy girl, not good for portability... I had her for about 2.5 months and the threads stripped out, so buy the version 2 that does not have the spinning 510 attachment or you'll be sorry. I'm still trying to get innokin to make right.... I'm back to using Tessie everyday and she's a great tool, after you get used to its screen location and where to put your fingers...fire button has gotten soft but she still bangs out the clouds
Tw1sted Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I personally love the V5. I got it in brushed stainless because I've read the chrome/black chrome wear off quickly, so avoid those two finishes if you can. The menu is easy to navigate once you learn which buttons do what, and I've dropped this thing from about 4-5' off the floor more times than I can count and it's still working as great as it was the first day I got it.
BigClouds1021 Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 Cool. Thanks for the help. Keep the comments coming.
VapeEscape Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Mvp wasn't mentioned but I swear up and down by this mod. Happy Vapor 1

So far mine is still working great. Sorry to hear your threads stripped out.
robv1978 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 If your loking for a good vv/vw mod to start with try the Vamo V5. I started with the V1 and LOVED it. It's reasonably priced and easy to use with the 3 button menu system.
bcartervol98 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Vamo is a great value, only APV I own or foresee owning.
Happy Vapor Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I have 2 mvp 2 and love them. I just got my wife the itazte v3 and she is loving it.
WillBlack Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Just keep in mind that the Vamos are often listed as: Max Amperage Current 5A In the real world due to restrictions of voltage (6V), ohms/load (1.2) and watts (15), you may be able to get 3A, but other times only 2.3A.
BigClouds1021 Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 I just pulled the trigger on the itaste VTR. I actually got the new version for $70 at aka vapers. Best deal I could find. I'm so freaking excite. Thanks for all the help. Vispera 1
