Help, This Flavor Won't Go Away

Hi,

a few hours ago I tried the menthol flavor and now it will not go away. Yuck. What can I do to get rid of it? It tastes like Vick's vapor rub.

LOL! The only thing you can really do is to take the atty off your battery. Flip it upside down, and blow through the little pin hole at the bottom to get all the excess juice out. Make sure you have a paper towel to catch all the juice that will come out. Then your going to have to drip 4-5 drops on the atty and vape that quite a few times. If you are using pre filled carts or filling carts yourself, take the polyester filling part out and rinse it under warm water and squeeze till its white. Then take a paper towel to it and suck all the water out of it, then re stuff into your cart. The downside with Menthol is it overpowers all!

If you are using carts pull the packing and rinse with water. That is why I don't use menthol juice it's hard to get rid of !! You could use some choclate juice then it tastes like a thin mint.

Yup yup. Like everyone said, menthol really overpowers the other flavors. Best thing to do is to have a dedicated atty just for menthol flavors. Or you could just vape it out, but it takes awhile.

Menthol is pure hell on an atty. I have one I used for menthol for about 2 weeks and after at least four soaks and two boils it still smells like menthol.

I usually use a 50/50 mix (PG/VG) and drip into atty until the taste is very faint. It goes away after 1 day if ya do that. It did for me. when I had my stuff.

I got a nice menthol sample from Awesome Vapor. I really want to give it a try, but have been afraid because of the chatter about the flavor hanging on. I guess I am just going to have to break down and use it on a extra atty.

Bummer... Thats why I stopped vaping menthol... it was a pain in the *** to get rid of the menthol flavor... have no fear it does subsides after awhile.

Oh and LOL on it tasting like vicks vapor rub.... I noticed a few menthol flavors taste like that more than a menthol cigarette..

You could try using tobacco flavor juice and eventually it might taste like a real menthol.

This is exactly why I don't vape menthol. I never have liked mint anyway in anything. If I were to use menthol and not on a regular basis I would reserve one atty for menthol and the use a different atty for non-menthol.

Just my two cents.

There is still a the menthol taste. I blew the atty out and it is not as strong but still. Started using apple flavor. I think i would really like the apple flavor if it weren't for the apple dipped in vicks taste i am getting. lol. I think i will buy a new atty tomorrow and just keep this one for menthols.

That flavor can be nice from time to time.

The chocolate idea sounds like a good one. who sells the best chocolate flavor? What about pineapple, i saw a review on this flavor but can't find it at the stores i have visited.
