dannyk
Is anyone else having issues with taste ? Had a couple of packs of genuine Kanger coils turn up and I hate to say they are leaving a really bad aftertaste. Almost like a chemical taste if that makes sense I've tried 4 out of 10 and all the same. Before you all say it could be the juice it's not as it's vaping lovely dripping on the Eternity. It must be the coils as well as I've tried on 3 different juices and it's the same chemical taste, in fact the taste coming of the coil is masking virtually all the flavour in the juice.I have no issues with them normally but it's worth asking. I'll get on to my supplier they will send out some more with no problems. Should the ones I've got go back for testing ?
irwink
I recently bought a bunch of Kanger protank replacement coils and have had no issues fwiw. I guess a bad production run is possible and you just weren't lucky. Just a guess. You could always try soaking and rinsing them before use. Obviously your call. Tam
I've also gotten a few bad coils lately, which is rather unusual for Kanger coils. Wonder if they had a bad run/batch like irwink said.
robcope
Funny, just recieved some in the mail yesterday and threw two away already. The two from the same batch I Installed in my mini protank and protank 2 this morning are fine. Never have recieved any crappy ones before this. Dabesiv
I loved my first set of Kanger coils, no problems with them. After that I got a similar taste that would show up after maybe 20 drags. I didn't realize I had only 2.2 resistance instead of 2.5 like I normally do, and I was burning my wick. I started rebuilding my coils with a cotton wick and 3 ohm resistance and it is better in every way. No longer needing to replace my coil all the time, better flavor output, no burnt taste unless you burn the cotton (which is hard unless you dry burn), and it's much cheaper. Kanger does a great job with coils, but the silica can suck a lot. Just my 2 cents.
