Did you check out the video #30 I put on youtube? The whole complete thing is waterproof, carto-tank and the battery attached! The video I just watched shows the guy unscrew the cartomizer before it takes a dunk in the drink. My unit [complete with carto tank and battery screwed together] is vape ready straight out of the drink while turned on even after a 24 hour soaking under water!!!

I've been smoke free for a year and 10 months now and there is no going back for me. I started out with Blu e cigs but they could'nt keep up with chain smoking, not enough power and petered out too soon. Tried a smoke two days after starting vape but man that tasted nasty much to my surprise...

I was looking up info on water pressure at depths and it turns out that 14.7 psi at sea level is the same under water at a depth of 33 ft.in sea water and 34 ft. in fresh water...go figure...

Accidentally dropped the stainless BFM mech seen here in a bait tank fishing offshore..had to rinse it off with fresh water and replace the cotton in the RDA...took all of 10 min seated at a table in the galley..
Worked perfect again, so it's as waterproof as I need... Lol
