Compenstine Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 I'm thinking about doing my KPT mini, then the base will match the rest of it.
tzymroz2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 i had seen this done somewhere before but when I began looking in my bookmarks could not find it so thank you Comp for sharing it here. I am going to give it ago. We use to have a local plating shop and wish now they were still in business, environmental regulations kind of got them shut down, as we are right on 2 rivers. any way this process kind of reminds me of some of the end result of plating etc Compenstine 1

Compenstine Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 So make sure your junk in not plated, it will not turn a nice purty blue. It will in fact, bubble up and look like crap. What is the point of chrome plating Stainless?
