timw69 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I bought an evod the other day.Love it! But sometime when I'm vaping it whistles. Is this normal? I did notice if I cover one of the vent holes on the base it wont whistle but will that hurt anything.I really don't want to have to do that anyway.Thanks.
Bebop Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Nope its fine to cover it. Sounds like you may be pulling a little hard on it is all.
timw69 Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 I forgot to mention.I checked the battery connection to make sure its not to tight.I pull very lightly to get good vapes.
Bebop Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 You could try working a needle in the airholes. You may have a clog or a burr Or you could just tune that sucker up and jam on it
timw69 Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 I'll try the needle. Thanks Bebop12.What do you mean by tune it up? Im a newbie.lol.
Bebop Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I was making a musician's joke, as in tuning up an instrument to play. To jam means to play music enthusiastically by yourself or with others as in " Everybody tuned up? Okay, let's jam!"
timw69 Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 Ok gotcha.lol. Well,I fixed my whistling problem by accident.I was wanting to learn how to rebuild my Evod.I started by replacing the flavor wicks with cotton as I've heard how great it is supposed to be.Whistling gone! I now love it even more.Better flavor better vape.
