What are O rings for?

Recommended Posts

OK, then I just need to put them away in a safe place for later, I do not need to put them on now? I guess the way you know they are worn out and need changing is that they start leaking? How do you know the difference in a leak because your coil went bad or the O rings need to be changed? Also, is how to put the new O rings on something that can be looked up on U Tube? Thanks for the help.

There should be an oring in both the top and bottom grooves wher the glass fits, make sure they are there before you assemble.. Leaking from the atty will occur on the bottom, oring leaking from the sides. As long as you take care during assembly, your not gonna wear them out

Is there anything I can do to avoid the O rings from wearing out? Is cleaning the KPT 2 in was water with Dawn dish liquid in it safe? Thanks again.

Extras are there more for in case you lose one Pat...and yes Dawn is fine....
