Grant951
I've found that depending on how far down I thread my kpt2 I sometimes experience airflow issues. Should I crank it down until it literally won't go, or until it's finger tight? I'm afraid of pushing the contact down if I crank it down all the way. Aquatroy
Not familiar with your batt. Boss won't buy them due to a huge return rate on the 2.0, major issues with that pin, spot for a "beauty ring" ???that might help, or roll a rubber band down where they meet....?? spydre
Don't screw it down any farther than finger tight, just like you would do with any APV. Troy, what kinds of problems are causing returns on the 2.0?
Compenstine
I was having this same problem on my Lavafire, What I found thru my testing was the rubber grommet for the pin on the KPT2 had weakened and was expanding cutting off the air flow. Replacing the coil assembly fixed the issue. This happened after my device got hot. I mean untouchable hot. I think the heat weakened the grommet making it softer than normal. Try swapping out the coil assemble and see if you still have airflow issues.
Grant951
Thanks for the tips guys, the beauty ring helps, I was just wondering about it really though. I just swapped out the coil and it's working great! The grommet had expanded a bit.
