dannyk
Hi all, I've been vaping for a month now, started with an ego c4 kit, still use occasionally, decided to try a Kanger T3 all is well when full up but half way down it gurgles like buggery and floods itself ? Is this normal for a Kanger ? Any way awaiting a mini nova to arrive let's hope this is better than the Kanger T3. I use Vapetime for juice and Liberty Flights for the batteries and carto's anyone care to suggest any suppliers. Still it's good to be cigarette free for a month. Havamal
Welcome Aboard! I've been using the Kanger T3S for a while now and had that problem in the beginning, but learned on here a few things that prevented that from happening and I have not had a problem since. Some of these may seem like common sense, but here you go anyway! Use only genuine Kanger coils - there are a lot of knock offs out there that tend to fail and leak. If your draw is a little too hard it will cause it to flood. I take long, slow, steady draws now. when filling take a q-tip and pull off some of the cotton so that it will fit in the opening in the top and slide into the shaft. When you turn it upside down and unscrew the base to fill, push the q-tip through so that it just sticks out the bottom of the shaft then fill. This prevents any juice from getting in the shaft and cleans up any juice that may be already in the shaft. Once filled push the q-tip through so that you can grab it and pull it out. As I pull it out I slide it up and down a couple of times inside the shaft to make sure I got any juice that might still be in there, then I swipe it across the threads to clean up any juice that might have gotten in them while filling. I try and fill mine when they get between 1/2 and 3/4 empty. when they get bellow 3/4 they seem to lose the required pressure in the tank and it will occasionally cause it to flood or leak. (however this may just be my imagination) I'm still pretty new to vaping so others may have better advice... but at least I tried! I have not used a mini nova so I don't know how they compare, but others here have... I'm sure others will pipe in with more or better advice!! I'm sure others will pipe in with more advice. Aquatroy
Havamal has it down, don't get better than that... Vivis work a lot different, your choice there. My choice, davide minis for best flavor. Havamal and Tam
mcquinn
Hello I like the Vivi mini's myself.
dannyk
I find that when it gurgles just unscrewing it from the battery and a few blows down it gets rid of the excess but doesn't last long before it floods. Keeping the Kanger full seems to work.I find it a bit airy though and have to block two of the three holes to get a decent draw from it. Thanks for the advice I'll let you know how the mini novas go

I appear to have stuttered and repeated my self at the end there ... I guess it must be time to go home and smooth things out with some whisky! Thanks for the advice I'll let you know how the mini novas go I tried the blowing technique and your right, it is only a temporary fix (and you waste a lot of juice that way). It seems to me that when you blow through it you are blowing out the build up but also drawing in more through the wicks so it just builds up again quick. The airiness seems to vary... I have 6 T3S's and the draw ranges from extremely airy to (I think Troy was the one who described it this way once..) trying to suck the chrome off a trailer hitch! It also seems to vary depending on the juice as well... The airy ones I just cover the holes like you. Edited November 5, 2013 by Havamal
Tam
Everyone has their favorite juice delivery device. Mine, when I'm not direct dripping, is the Anyvape Davide Mini with a 1.8 ohm coil. It's a bottom feeder (heating coil and wick on the bottom of the tank), so you don't have to keep tipping it to keep the wicks wet like you'll have to do with the Vivi Nova. I get mine from DiscountVaper.com. Welcome and glad you switched over!
wizard46304
Another vote for mini Davide here, no gurgle out of any if mine, I vape them all the way to the bottom.
dannyk
Well my mini nova arrived and quite impressed at the mo. Only time will tell if I stick with it I prefer bottom coils like the kanger but unless the kanger is always over half it gurgles like a *****.
