187
I feel that I just got ripped off with my purchase of K100, they charged me $72 for this kit that included a 10% discount because it was a display item, they shorted my on the large battery (I got 2 18350), the automizer sucks (it taste burnt) so I hade to buy a protank $25, the battery charger is cheap as hell, and worst of all I drink more e-juicy than I VAP. Thanks Vap Ape in Hollywood. I went back to complain and they tell me it works fine, that I have to buy the 18650 $9. Well I wanted to stop smoking and I read good reviews on the Empire K100 even though I am broke I still shelled out the $$$. Can someone advise me on what to do in order to stop the leaking from the tip and I'm not over filling the tank. Also now that money is wasted what is truly the best mod out there that won't send me to the welfare line. I can't believe I just saw this kit listed for $32, just four days after I got ripped off with my puchase.
Bebop
I recommend you find an experienced person who Vapes in your area who can help you locate your difficulties. If they won't help you at the shop (and this does happen) find another shop. There should be plenty in your area. It is a little difficult to understand your problem from what you have written. But, it sounds like you need to find the correct resistance for your tank, or, invest in a device called a "kick" that converts your k100 into a variable voltage device. But I would really recommend you find a friend who knows and can show you what to do, or find a shop that is truly helpful. Tam
Tam
I just recently got a K100 so I'm going to guess here based on my experiences with it so far and the hardware you're describing. Not a pro with this thing by any means, just my opinions. When I used my HH.357 (2.0 ohm), it vapes a little warm on this unit. I'm going to guess it feels like 4.3 - 4.5 volt equivalent on my Vision Spinners. My Pro Tank and Pro Tank 2 both have 2.2 ohm coils in it and they vape the same as the 4.3 volts on my Spinners and the Evic to just a touch higher. I'm going to guess that the 4.3 - 4.5 voltage range is what it puts out. The battery I have in my K100 is the 18650 as well so we're comparing apples to apples here. If I were you I'd be getting 2.2 or 2.5 ohm coils. You say you're getting leaking from the tip, take the tank off the mod and wipe any excess juice from the bottom of the Pro Tank and from the connection part of the mod with a paper towel or tissue. Put the tissue near the end of the Pro Tank where it connects to the battery and blow into the tip. This should blow out the juice that's in your center post so you're not getting it into your mouth. If you still get leaking I'd be taking a hard look at the coils you have. Are they genuine Kangor coils or are they knock offs? The box should be black with the words Kanger Tech on the top flap. Knock offs have been known to leak pretty bad on these things. If the above doesn't work for you I'd be looking to take Bebop's advice to find a different shop with experienced vapers and/or get together with a friend who is more experienced to show you around your battery. Sorry you've had a bad experience so far but you've got a solid mod on your hands as well as a good tank. Just a few tweaks and you should be good to go. Stick with it! IMEDICx90
When your filling the tank are you leaving the rubbery grommet on the post of the coil? There should be a little cup like thing made of silicone and it seals the center post so it doesn't leak out of the tip. Also just remember your most likely vaping to fast for your liquid to wick. If it's a thicker liquid it needs more time to wick through the silica then a thinner liquid would. You could always do a few pulls through the mouthpiece without power and see if you get any air bubbles to come up from the bottom. If you do it means you just needed to prime the wick. if not you should be good to go!
