Just got my second stent

Just got home from getting my second stent in a coronary artery. Been over nine years since the last blockage. That is well above the average for people with coronary artery disease. 90% blockage just ahead of where the last 90% blockage was. All you old timers need to find you a good Dr. and stay on top of things because it just sneaks up on you and you just attribute the symptoms to getting old. Once the oxygen rich blood starts circulating it makes you feel like a new person. I have been fortunate that they have found both blockages before I had "the big one" as I don't have any permanent damage .

I understand that George Bush just got one, and he's in about as good a shape as anyone at his age.

Good news! Glad you're feeling better. I passed a recent check up with flying colors,tg. But its always best to be on top of it. I smoked for nearly 30 years and of course, I regret the damage I have done. I just decided I have to pay attention and go see the doc now and again.

Good to hear you are on top of it. I am going through Vertebrae troubles and it was believe it or not due to of course back stress but also smoking. Take care of yourself.
