sonofzell Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 http://www.philly.com/philly/opinion/20130922_The_Pulse__A_positive_whiff_of_e-cigs.html It was nice to see some objective op-ed writing for a change, however the author loses me at the end. Let me get this straight: If someone continues to use cigarettes after trying vapor, that makes vapor the culprit?! pffft.
Bebop Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I'd call it a positive article but VERY conservative. I think you've missed something in the end. He's just saying different people have different motivations for using the ecig, but I think it's a stretch for him to say people are using ecigs just to circumvent existing smoking laws. It's interesting, I think of ecigs as nothing short of miraculous. My wife and I totally quit using ecigs. 6 people we know have totally quit. 2 others have not quit completely and one friend went back to ciggys. Maybe the statistics are more conservative than I think.
