MPsilver
So, I won a ProTank II on InstaGram last month, and I've been loving it! I used it for my everyday vape. Anyway, I switched the atomizer that I was using with the second one it came with. Now, it's leaking. I rebuilt it, it stopped leaking, but I'm getting straight up burnt taste to it. Am I using the wrong gauge wire? I used 28g with 3mm silica. Thanks ahead of time!

3Rutez
We would need a bit more detail of your rebuild to troubleshoot your problem. You could be getting a hotspot in your coil build. That is usually what can cause a burnt taste. MPsilver
MPsilver
Bebop12 - I'll check it out. Thanks! 3Rutez - I checked my hotspots before putting it back together, and it was even. I might just rebuild and ask my roommate (who's better at building) to check for sure. I did a 5 wrap. Maybe I should do 6?
IMEDICx90
Your wrap doesn't make it leak, the wick degrading does. So what I would say it make sure it covers the fills the slot and your replacing the cap that goes over the stem(gasket thing) and check to make sure you didn't choke off your wick by wrapping it too tight. Off you need to you could use some white embroidery floss and just use that as a flavor wick to fill in the extra space.
