stefg6
Hey all! I'm been vaping 2 weeks now, woohoo!!! I started with the T3S tank and E-Go battery. Was ok at first, but now I've been noticing that when I vape to heavy, and i do often, my stuff gets hot and starts to taste funny until it cools off. I don't vape all day at work and just take breaks, but when I do, I consistently vape til break is over. Do I need something different and what would you suggest? I also read that they have to change the coil on these often, is that why it's getting hot now and tasting weird? Someone made a reference to "blown coils". How do I know if it's blown? Thanks in advance for the help!
Grant951
That is a good sign that it's blown (tasting weird) when I hit several times in a row, it gets warm as well. Pretty sure that's just normal. Deferential juices burn out coils at different rates. A standard amount of time for me is 1.5 to 2 weeks before a coil starts going bad. Look up dry burning on YouTube and you'll be able to get more life out of a coil.
Bebop
A blown coil is a coil that shorts out and stops working or one that fatigues and pops like a burnt out light bulb A burnt coil is one that still works but gives a distinctly burnt taste when vaping. Usually they last a week or two, some longer. Buy the appropriate coil for your T3 and you can change it and vape on. Good luck
