Just found these articles while trying to find out why there are no American-made Li-ion batteries. Turns out there are:

Electro Energy sells "made in the U.S.A." lithium ion batteries

and

Electro Energy Receives $100,000 Order for Lithium-Ion Batteries

It appears that Electro Energy's USA18650BXC Li-ion batteries are assembled into packs used in communications equipment for military applications, but it's only a matter of time before they'll be available to the general public. IMO, there's just too much demand for American-made 18650s for them not to sell to the public.

Maybe NOT finally...I just noticed that those articles are a few years old. Sorry for the excitement. :blushing:

Back to the drawing board.

for Chinese people, made in US is always better than made in China except human, :wallbash: maybe goverment consider more about pollution.
