Finally! Li-ion 18650 Batteries Made In America!

Just found these articles while trying to find out why there are no American-made Li-ion batteries. Turns out there are:

Electro Energy sells "made in the U.S.A." lithium ion batteries

and

Electro Energy Receives $100,000 Order for Lithium-Ion Batteries

It appears that Electro Energy's USA18650BXC Li-ion batteries are assembled into packs used in communications equipment for military applications, but it's only a matter of time before they'll be available to the general public. IMO, there's just too much demand for American-made 18650s for them not to sell to the public.

I'm rather surprised that they're not readily available from several different manufacturers myself.

for Chinese people, made in US is always better than made in China except human, maybe goverment consider more about pollution.
