Grant951 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Sweet-vapes said they are different so I ordered some from them, but upon a very close examination I could not see a difference. I think it said something about a wider flange on the T3S coil but I can't tell if there is. Has anyone interchanged them? Are they really different?
Tam Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 My local B&M sold me the T3S coils for my Pro Tank/Pro Tank 2/Davide mini and they said it's all the same. So far I've not seen any difference in performance from the regular Pro Tank coils. YMMV.
IMEDICx90 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Yes they are different. The T3S has a smaller flange on it. It will work in the protank but the protank heads will not work in the T3S. You can sand down the flange to make them fit but it's probably just easier to use the T3S coils. I only say without a shadow of a doubt because I have both and have tried it and it doesn't work.

Good to know, Medic. Even though I have a T3S...I think...I've only ever used those coils in the KPT/KPT2 and Davide minis.
