kerk Posted August 26, 2013 Share Posted August 26, 2013 Been slowly working through it, ordered from AquaVapor. So far, anything other than tobacco flavors pretty much suck. Haven't gone through but a couple tobacco's, but they seem to be Okay, but I have about 6 other tobacco blends to try. Glad I got a sample pack. As others have said, they taste like chemicals. Actually I was fortunate that the 'first' one I tried was their 'Regular', which is supposed to be a substitute for Marlboro Reds, and it was pretty fair. And it was far better than the taste of an analog. But had I started with vanilla, strawberry, pinacolada, blueberry, etc., yeah, I might have run away. So I've gone through a PG regular, a VG regular, and a cigar.....not too bad, and I've got a bunch more tobacco samples, so if they are Okay, I'll use em, but I am anxious to order from a different source, and ECblends is probably it. My wife and I both love it as an ADV, and so does every one of my vaping friends. In fact, everyone that I've let try it wants to buy a bottle from me...even those who prefer menthol vapes have switched to it once they try it. I have to buy it in bulk to keep my friends in juice. And yes...it could be a hardware issue, but sometimes things that taste good one day can taste not-so-good the next. Also, steeping for a few weeks will change (usually improve) the taste of new juices, sometimes dramatically. By all means, try other juices, but if you're looking for a good tobacco flavor, give DK-TAB a try, too. They label the product 'RY4 / DK-4', but the bottle comes labeled 'DK-4'. As for steeping, the newest juice I have is 4 weeks old. So if aging is making any difference, it's making it worse. They were Dekang Turkish Blend and another tobacco flavor I can't remember the name. I could literally smell the chemical, almost mildew like a wet towel in a hot car, smell before I even opened the bottles. It was strong, very strong. My wife refused to even try it it smelled so bad. I tried it and it tasted as bad as it smelled. I guess I could have gotten bad batches. It came from Eliquidmarket and was ridiculous cheap. Wintergreen is good but didn't think about it, but reminds me of the nasty skoal I smell all day at work. Strawberry is steeping but tastes more like strawberry candy, very sweet for my taste. Peppermint is good, just peppermint withoutvthe sweetness, it has become my wife's favorite flavor. I still prefer VapeDudes candy cane myself. I still prefer VapeDudes candy cane myself. i got banana, vanilla cupcake and some kind of coffee for my wife none are sweet and do not pack a ton of flavor like vape dudes. the vanilla cupcake even has a shot of extra flavor and it is still just blahh, you spoiled me with vape dudes. vape dudes island coconut was a sample they sent with my last order and i honestly did not think i would like it but i have just about murdered that bottle in a matter of days. it seems to work really well when i go between flavors to kinda cleanse the palate, it just has a fresh coconut taste and smells the same.
