Thought it might be a good way to leap into RBA ! Could I use an APV to check ohms until I have time and funds to pick one up?

Yeah and that's not a good start for them lol. It's an awesome atty but a more complicated build. If you wanna start I would suggest starting with an IGO-w or l. They are droppers and easy to build also cheap. :) but I would grab that one and hold onto it for sure!

If this is your first foray, why not try one of the many and inexpensive China RBAs?

The Igo L is a fine basic atty, with lotsa room to maneuver. It will give you a chance to hone your coil winding. Even if you move on to fancier stuff it will still be usefull, juice tasting etc.

FastTech sells a clone for~$8 (I don't have any experience with it though).

Great price! That's an awesome atty . It's a rebuildable though so just be ware you will need silica and some kanthal wire. And an ohms meter.

i agree!!!! A better one is the Kayfun Lite. Search youtube for vids Taifun vs Kayfun Lite. But the Taufun is sweet.

It's an RDA so it's a dripping atomizer. :) really easy to build really hard to screw up. The taifun is an advanced build but you can do it. It will just be more frustrating. I wouldn't want that to discolor your opinion of rba's because you got a more complex atty. :/
