Middle man here; This is exactly the reason we did away with it. And no, directing traffic out of the forum is not ok, especially with only 1 post contributed.

No webcam, and sometimes my skype gets funky when I install it. Are google hangouts voice?

Tell you what, the forum has gotten busier since the chat days. I'll get a text chat room going... If that does well and stays active then perhaps I'll look into bringing in the video modules I'll try and get the chat room up and running by this evening. (I've got a little free time before heading to Los Angeles tomorrow)
