Patricia
Would one of these readers tell you when the Cartomizers & atomizer is burnt out or ready to be replaced?
Love2VapeDaily
im guessing the resistance would change drastically
Bebop
You might be able to buy parts to make one at radio shack but you wont find one of those units with the various connections for different clearos and stuff if that is what your looking for. A regular ohm meter woyld work but one of those boxes with the 510 connections and others are pretty slick. I want one too. I might make one myself when im feeeling like a project Patricia - its a device that you screw your clearomizer into or your RBA deck into and it measures the resistance of your coil. Builders use them to measure their coil resistance when they rebuild their atomizers. It would tell you if your atomizer is not working correctly or if the resistance changed but it wont tell you id your wick is burned. Its primary function is to measure the resistance across a coil tzymroz2013

Jeffb
You can get a regular volt/ohm meter at radio shack/ sears or online to check the resitance of your cartos/clearos.

DragonGunner
I just got in my orders and one of them is smoktech rsst genesis atomizer. Felt like I wanted to begin rebuilding my own stuff. I searched and searched for one of those nifty ohm readers from all vendors, but alas they were all sold out. So I did the next best thing. I just ordered a sigelei Zmax V3 to check my atty's voltage. Of course it was just an excuse to buy another PV but hey the excuse worked. Oh and not to derail this thread, but I just tried for the very first time to get my rsst up and working.....epic failure. Those guys on youtube make it look real easy. I will eventually get the hang of it, but I found it difficult. Me an my big clumsy fingers trying to wrap a coil around a wick was most likely comical to watch but extremely annoying to me.
