irwink
I'm still fairly new here but haven't posted in the last few days because I started a new job and have been busy with that and doing stuff when I get home. But that's not the point of this post. When I started I laid low with the vaping, taking a stealth hit here and there with an easily concealable 650mah eGo and carto. The workplace is a large industrial manufacturing site and after a couple of days I wandered out into the production area and started introducing myself to people on the floor. I was chatting with one guy who was wiring up a control panel and I spotted an eGo with some type of carto standing up in the cabinet he was wiring up. So I asked if vaping was cool there and he said, "Oh yeah. HR said it was okay. Management has no problem. There are about 10 people out here on the floor who vape and at least one guy in engineering." Needless to say I'm now very happy and a bit surprised with my new work environment. Going in I expected the worst as far as vaping. What a relief! Tam

IMEDICx90
my plant actually encourages people to switch over. me and a few other guys always come in a half hour early and swap juice or PVs and let people who smoke try them. we have over 45 people who smoke and now 20 of us have our own set ups with a few more that join the ranks every week! irwink
Didn't mean to post this in the e-liquid discussion area but - oh well. It must be vaphoria at work. Mods feel free to move it wherever.
irwink
That's cool! New jobs can be stressful.... The only thing that kind of stressed me going in was the question of vaping. The guy who leaned on me to apply for the job was once my boss with another employer. I already knew a couple of other people there and a fair amount about the company itself. And you can roll into that the fact that I'm at a point in my life where the job is more about liking what I do first, money second. So I feel fortunate all the way around. Of course the money comes in handy for new vape gear!
Love2VapeDaily
my last job was a smoke free plastic manufacturing plant, we made pvc products and sprinklers. a guy got fired for vaping. i would love to put them on blast here but unless you live in cali, tennessee, georgia and a few other states you might not have heard of them. the place sucks to work at, very hot hardly no money and politics are worse than in the house of congress.
