Hey folks, how are you all doing?

Recently was diagnosed with Alpha1-Antitrypsin (at 38 woot!) and have to quit smoking, and after trying several times before with Chantix (nasty stuff), I'm looking at a e-cig. I have no previous knowledge with them except what I have seen other's use and needing a cig alternative.

I smoke roughly a 1/2 to 1 pack a day of Light Menthol's, and needing advice on a starting device that is good and functional and won't break the bank (have no problem spending extra on the startup for a decent device).

So please share your wisdom, as I am willing to learn.

Welcome.I would get an Ego type battery,a Vivi Nova or Vision Clearomiser and an assortment of liquids from several vendors.That hardware should do the trick .The liquid is the hard part finding one that does the job and you enjoy enough to be able to replace the ciggie's.Good luck.

but you may find that once you start vaping you might not even want a menthol juice. i smoked almost 2 packs a day of newport menthol in the dark green box, or marlboro smooth or kool filter kings depending on price and now i have not tried anything menthol in e juice. i like fruits and cake flavored juices.
