Electric Angel Mechanical Mod or Innokin SVD

Recommended Posts

I am on the fence for either the EA mod and the Innokin SVD. I know that both are both different of beasts altogether. One being electrical and the other mechanical.

I love the simplicity of the EA mod and if taken care of properly could last a very long time as it has less moving/working parts vs. the SVD. That being said I love the options that the SVD has as far as VV and VW to really dial in that sweet spot. I have read that some SVD's are having issues with button's and screen as well, but that could have been some of the earlier batches.

Can any of you weigh in with your opinions from personal experience with either of these two devices please?

Hahaha...I do like the way you think unfortunately my spouse does not think the way we do. It would be a hard sell to get both. Perhaps in the long run yes. I'm just thinking that being away from home so often (work overseas) that a more simplistic device might be a way to go since there would be less of a risk of something going completely wrong as could with a more complex devise such as the SVD. Yes I will always have my spinner and vapor zeus as spares. I dont know, perhaps I'm just trying to rationalize in a completely childish manner why I want an insanely expensive device.

I would go with what you feel your going to enjoy more. At first the money kinda sucks but once you hit that sweet spot... it will start to become a return investment :)

I personally like the idea of the EA over the SVD having read and watched the videos on the page.... it looks like it an insanely awesome mod right out of the box. :)

The EA is a very nice mod! A few of my online friends have one, and they're mostly in love with the way it feels in hand. It does have it's "quirks", like any gadget, but as far as I remember, they are manageable, fixable, or tolerable. One friend did sell his, to pick up the Nemesis, and has been over the moon happy for months now. (as have all the others who've received one). I'm picking one up for my Bday whether my spouse likes it or not. :D

Like Imedic said, you have to go with what feels right for you. If you don't like it afterall, or if you turn into a Mod **** like many of us, you can always sell it on the classies, recoup your funds, and try out the next one that catches your fancy. (never pay over retail for a used mod, unless the goodies that come with it make it worth the while.). Good luck to you!! Life is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the ride, smoke free. :)
