Vision Victory clearomizer review

My vision vees should be arriving anytime now. Looking forward to trying them out.

Like Bcarter said, it does have a tighter draw than a Pro Tank but that's what I like about them. The Pro Tank, for me, is much too airy. The flavor I get from the Victory (VT) is the closest I've ever experienced to direct dripping that I've been finding myself using the VT more often. This hasn't happened before since I started dripping. YMMV. :)

It is by far the tightest draw and strongest throat hit from any appliance i have tried since I started vaping. Some people are Ford, some Chevy just like some are Vision (Tighter draw) and some are Kanger (Airier draw). I am full Kanger lol.

Im a Lamboghini type of guy on a Hyundai budget

Lambos are overrated imo. I drove a Gallardo for a couple months and it was one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever sat in lol. I will just keep my 2012 Yukon Denali and 2013 Sierra Z71 and I am good. My fast car phase is over lol.

I love that my 2009 Chevy Impala only says Impala on the outside. Under the body is a BUICK! :D

Although I still miss my '94 Pontiac Gran Prix. That baby could kick @$$ and take names...

*weeps gently* I havent truly ejoyed a car since I sold my '95 t-bird. I modded the heck out of that car modeled after the bad guys black t-bird from the movie "Jade". One sweet ride.....*alas*

I thought I'd camp on to your review,Tam. I like the VT. As far as style goes it rocks over the T2. I've been using it for a few days. It performs ok. I don't k ow if it's my imagination or what but it seems to mute the flavor a little more over the T2. Is that possible? Hard to explain. It's not bad but is it a solid improvement over the T2? I don't think so. I have the same juice in a T2 and the VT and there is definitely a difference. Subtle. And maybe its the coil. I dont know. But it looks awesome. Oh yeah, it also seems to burn juice faster - or maybe i'm just sucking it down faster, lol.

All in all a great unit and serves it's purpose.

You're right, Bebop. It really does suck the juice down but for me the flavor I get out of the VT is the closest thing to direct dripping that I've found. From what I'm getting out of it -- it beats the T2 with the short wicks for non-flavor muting. Funny how things seem for different people. Are you using the stock 1.8 ohm coil that it comes with? I've got the 2.2 ohm coils in mine and it's on a Vision Spinner at 3.8 volts for the Strawberry Fields, 4.2 volts for the Feels Like a Nut, and 4.0 volts for the mojito.

Well ive been swapping back and forth now and i think I've decided the the taste is better on the VT. I was careful to rinse mouth and try to minimize vapor's tongue, lol

Mine came with 2.4 ohm and i bought some 2.0 which I haven't tried yet. I tend to vape at 3.8 - 4.0 but that might drop on the 2.0 coil

I sure like the way they look. Nice style.

Ok. Weird update.

So I filled 2 VT tanks this morning but only took 1 with me. I was pretty much gone all day. Tonight I came home and the VT I left at home, which I left sitting upright unconnected to a a battery, had wicked almost completely out on its own. I've never had a Clearomizer do this. It's weird. This is a tank I have used before. It doesn't leak. The coil is only a couple days old and it's only seen I filling. It works beautifully and no sign of any other leaking problem.

Could it be coil wrapped too tight? Or too loose? Or is it just a wicking monster. It Vapes incredibly well. Maybe too well?

Not sure what it could be but both of mine did the same thing in my wife's case. I just chalked it up to them being "Vision" since everything I have ever had by them did the same thing.

As a disclosure my clearos have to take laying in their side, upside down, and being tossed around a little bit.

Just curiosity here, but what PG/VG ratio are you using? I've had a VT sitting on my desk with liquid in it for the past three or four days now (not connected to a battery), and it hasn't leaked a bit. This juice is at a 50/50 ratio.

Tam, it was 50/50 mix

I'm going to try switching out the coil with a replacement that I bought. But I will be switching from a 2.4 ohm to a 2.0 ohm coil. Not that that would make a difference .....

i was going to say it has to be a vision product but brian beat me to it.

I don't know, maybe I just got a couple of bum coils with the VT. The new coils are doing just Fine without a bit of gurgling or leaking. And my mocha java is the toughest juice I have. It's hard on coils, lol.

Update:

I know you started this thread, Tam but I thought in fairness to Vision I would just give my final opinion on this product since I camped on to your review.

I think this falls in to the "coils that came with it are crap" category that we seem to have seen so much of lately with all styles of tanks and clearos. That seems to be the case with this clearo. Since I swapped out the coils I have had NO issues with this clearo and would put it on par with the Kanger T2 as far as performance. Same great flavor and vapor virtually.

I actually prefer this vision victory clearo over the T2 for 2 basic reasons: 1) It looks way cooler and mates with the ego battery nicely and looks a little less clumsy. 2) I love the way it comes apart from both ends making cleaning way faster and much more efficient.

Over all a solid performer.

Agreed. Every one of them that I bought, the stock coil that came with it was crap. When I changed it out to a different one it worked very well. Every now and then I'd get a little bit of a leak, but that was usually when I needed to change the coil. Still, I think the Davide mini stole my heart. :)

Psst....i've got 2 mini Davides on order. :-)

What??? You mean we haven't gotten you on board yet? Say it isn't so, Bebop!

You'll have to let us all know what you think of them when they come in. The stock coils that come in the mini Davides are good, they're just not seated/tightened when you first get them so make sure to take it completely out and then reinsert. :)
