Kanger T3S

Recommended Posts

First impression is wow. Not sure I don't prefer these to KPT! The T2s will most likely become a backup very soon. Only used them for a little while but taste and vapor production are definitely better than the T2 out of the box. Only remaining question for me is durability. Definitely a little more difficult to fill than T2 but so far that's the only thing I would give the T2 an advantage in. Definitely looking forward to not wasting the bottom half of some liquids anymore!

Please keep us informed on how they do once your juice level drops below ½ a tank. I've had a lot of trouble with BCCs leaking on me once they get below that level.

Well rixter i actually had a full tank of the vapor room gummy bear in my T3S today and literally smoked it all the way down to where there was no juice even left in the bottom of the coil. not that i usually go that far but i just wanted to see if it was possible and how it would do when it got low. I had absolutely no problems with it leaking. :)

Cool, because I've had no such luck with the standard T3, MT3, or EVOD. It could be that I need to get replacement heads from another vendor because with the ones that I've been getting, I keep getting liquid in my 510 connection at or below ½ a tank.

I think now that you can buy the replacement bases it fixes the issues. The airway hole is vastly smaller then the previous bases and they dont seem to have the same problem of not screwing into the tank portion all the way. You can replace the bases on your t3's for around 2.50 a pop and just replace the coils for 1.50 a piece... and not to mention.... rix since your a huge rebuildable guy... you can actually pull those coils completely apart and rebuild them... and they dont seem to be a terribly hard build. I will let you know as soon as i can get my hands on some silica and some kanthal wire. :)

I have now vaped a tank of Strawberry Fields from top to bottom with no leaking. The only complaint I have so far is out of the 10 I filled 2 of them came with bad coils. I am saying bad coils, because they both flooded on the first fill. I replaced the coil and they both have been fine. On one of them I tried to "blow it out" like with a CE4 but about a half a ml of liquid shot out the bottom. Once I replaced those two coils I havent had any more leaking and I have used them all at least some. Will keep everyone advised if leaking becomes any sort of issue.

Uma posted a good video on how to fix a leaking T3. Short story: if the wicks don't fill the gap where they emerge from the coil housing, extra juice can slip by and flood the coil. This is corrected by adding an additional wick called a "flavor wick" that passes over the top of the coil as not part of the wick that threads thru the coil. Sounds more complicated than it is and is relatively easy to do....but you need some wicking material on hand.

I only had that issue on two of the coils that came with the units, the other 8 perform fine. Once I replaced those two they work fine with no leaking or flooding so far. Time will tell. As of right now I prefer them to the T2s and even the KPT.

LOL I thought something else was wrong, I wasnt getting a hit. I have my lanyard on so the button is somewhat concealed. I unscrewed the tank, rescrewed it on, was like WTF?. Then I realized my battery was blinking dead. DUH
