Smart Batt ?

Dont know why I ask these questions every 5 days. Just dont think of everything all at once I guess. My 510 batt, are they smart batteries? What I mean is, after the green light comes on showing its charged, will it hurt it to leave it on the charger. I actually stayed up an hour later one night waiting for it to charge because I didnt want to leave it on all night long. :withstupid:

I'm not sure if they're smart batteries, but I leave them charging overnight all the time and all my batteries are still fine. I've read this topic somewhere on this forum before and I think a lot of other members can say the same. Just don't leave them on there for days at a time and you should be fine.

What do you mean by "Days"?

When I days I mean like 5+. I'm sure the batteries would be fine but I don't see why you would need them in there for that long :)

I say that because when I read that post I looked over next to where I kept the batteries before I switched the the VP and I still have an 801 battery in the charger now for two weeks. Hummm...

In all honesty I've left batteries in their chargers for a long time. I just don't want someone else doing the same thing, then come back to the forums and stating "vapor talk helped burn down my house" ;)

In my experience with batteries and things plugged in, that is the only danger. Anything plugged in can "potentially" cause a fire, blah, blah, blah. I write volumes of this stuff for insurance companies every year!
