georgeisabamf
So I am very new to vaping, but here's a brief history of my vaping experience. A couple of weeks ago I ordered an ego twist battery with viva nova tank. The first 2 juices I tried were made by Totally Wicked (they have a local store near me) and I purchased both their menthol and strawberry juices. Both taste fine, but they were INSANELY harsh on my throat. I did some research, and found out their juices are more PG based than VG. So I went online to EC blends, since they offer the ability to adjust pg/vg, and ordered 4 new flavors. I received the package yesterday and have been vaping a great juice by them called "Chocolate Mint Crunch," All I can say is WOW, this juice is superb. However, I have been vaping nothing but that since I received the package. Now, I am starting to not taste the well pronounced flavors I tasted when I first loaded up my viva nova. I figured I should switch to a new flavor just to give my taste buds a change for a little bit. BUT, I have a question. My viva nova still has about 1.4 ml of juice in it. Should I save this juice, or just throw it out? I hate to waste a perfectly fine product, but is it still any good for me to use? Also, how often do most of yall switch up flavors? Tam
Personally, I go through 3 - 5 flavors a day minimum, it does depend on what I feel like at the time. I just keep different clearomizers or atomizers going with different flavors so I don't have to worry about wasting juice. Save the juice or throw it out? Depends on how dark the juice is from what it was originally. If it's significantly darker I'd throw it out. If it's still pretty clear then I'd find a new bottle to store it. Do NOT put it back to mix with the unused juice. I'm sure others will chime in directly, but that's my opinion. Christie

The juice isn't much darker at all (thought it is a little), I may keep it or not. I'm about to load up some kretek/clove juice and see how it is. I am currently in the process of steeping the new flavors I got, but am too impatient to wait! Edit: new realization, their clove flavor is blehh Edited July 13, 2013 by georgeisabamf
Tam
Let the clove sit for a week or four and then go back to see how you like it. Sometimes, with flavors like clove, you'll find it gets so much better with a little steeping time. It might become your all day vape, you never know. ETA: And your original post? Thanks a lot. You just made me go over to EC Blends to order some more juices...like I really needed more. *rolls eyes at self* Edited July 13, 2013 by Tameiki

I can't wait to try the rest of their flavors, but most of them are part of their "Dragon" line, and apparently those need to be steeped to enjoy them the most. Just have to try and be patient! But the juices I ordered (all with the option of "reduced pg") are much less harsh than the Totally Wicked blends I got.
Tam
The Dragon's Tear was really good almost out of the mailbox. I put it aside for a bit and went back to it, and it was even better. Then, I got sidetracked with all kinds of different flavors and now, several months have gone by. Tried it again and...it's sooooo good! Yeah, steeping is a must for some. Rixter got me started with EC Blends and their Chocolate Malt extra flavor. That's good without steeping - even better if you let it sit - if it lasts long enough. Interesting, they actually sent me a small bottle of Chocolate Malt for free. But I was/am skeptical to try it, since it has such a strong chocolate smell. Is it better for mixing with other flavors, or have you tried it by itself? This clove is definitely not working for me so far, so I want to switch to something else for a little bit. I also purchased Dragon's Dream (an orange-creamsicle type of flavor), and dragon's milk (a horchata flavor, I LOVE horchata), hope they are as good as they sound! Tam
The first two 50 ml bottles I just just vaped it by itself. Later on I finally added a little to strawberry shortcake and...yeah, it's really good. I think I prefer it by itself but that's just me. Since I developed an allergy to chocolate at 18 it's been a treat to be able to taste real chocolate again without having to worry about where I left that epi pen. kitsune
I agree with Tam on the above. Finding the right flavors is such a challenge !!! For the strawberry and menthol from TW.... I know this will sound wierd, but,....you can buy pharmacy grade VG from the pharmacy, walmart, walgreens, what not. It is sold as a skin protectant, I know, I know, but, it really is just glycerin. you can ask the pharmacist if you can't find it. You can add some of the glycerin to your harsh liquids and it will help soften it. Just add a bit at a time. Too much and it will decrease the flavor and nicotine level. for a 30ml bottle, you could probably get away with 5ml of the glycerin. Just an idea..... Well, I actually have a large bottle of "glycerin" that I keep around for photography purposes (I am a photographer, and we use glycerin on food products so that they retain that nice, fresh shine type of look.) Is that what you speak of? I can just add that to my juices? I didn't know if there was a difference between glycerin and vegetable glycerin. Also, for those who smoke multiple flavors a day, do you use the same tank/wick system (sorry if I am not using the proper terminology) for every flavor? Or do you use multiple tanks so that you can switch them out easily without cleaning? Edited July 13, 2013 by georgeisabamf
Tam
I have different juices in different clearomizers so all I have to do is to switch those instead of cleaning one out and refilling. Much less waste that way -- for me.

Much less waste that way -- for me. That is what I do, and one of the major reasons I use T2s. I have a couple dozen and keep 4-5 full at all times. When I change to another one I use a fresh one, put the old one in a rubbing alcohol bath after throwing away the old coil, let it dry, and it goes back in the case to use at a later date. It has worked great for me.
Bebop
Same here. Case has 2 batteries and 5 clearos - 2 different coffees, a bakery, and a fruit and a spearmint. I fill em up in the morning and through the day just rotate the clearos as desired. I dont like to vape 24mg all day like i used to either so with this method i can change nic levels as well. Some days I vape 1 or 2 all day. Other days I'll switch clearos all day long. Variety IS the spice if life Tam

Variety IS the spice if life I agree, I always have a full Spearmint, Peppermint, Traditional Tobacco, and Strawberry Fields sometimes adding a Juicy Peach tank. To be honest, out of all I have tried, those are the only 5 I really like so far.
kitsune
yup, different tanks with different flavors for easy change up...with me actually, I keep mine ready to go on its own battery. RE Glycerin....check the label and make sure it doesn't have any additional ingredients. take a small taste...vegetable glycerin has a lightly sweet taste. I would imagine its the same thing....Glycerin is fairly cheap. You can even google the product you are using and see if its just glycerin. Glycerin comes in 2 types..PG-Propylene glycol and VG-Vegetable glycerin. VG is thicker and a bit sweet.
Love2VapeDaily
The juices heavier on vg leave a nasty taste in my mouth. I rather have at least 60/30 but prefer 70/30. I vodka soak any tank, clearo before changing flavors. A few don't mix well at all.
