StevenP Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 Hi all, names Steve, I figure I stop lurking and register with vaportalk, after researching about e-cigerettes for a week and a half now. I finally bought a DSE901 e-Cigarette starter kit from Vaporkings. I'm a little anxious on how this all works. I really wanted to find a solution to a safer alternative to smoking, since I found I still love to smoke and every chance I quit, I ended up starting again. This year alone I tried to quit smoking 3 times, once in January again in April and just recently this September. Just yesterday, I bought a pack of cigarettes. So, after feeling disappointed, guilty and feeling really "unhealthy", I decided to bulk down and just get the DSE901 starter kit. Hopefully, this will turn out to be a great experience and possibly the last time I smoke any 'analog cigerettes'! Part 3 is the easy part, enjoying the taste of vaping, breathing 100 % better , and hanging out here at vaportalk. This is like a support group from heaven, and once you realize you dont really need the support anymore, you'll keep coming back to the friends youve made. You're going to love it, I got a couple friends and employees to order them and after watching me and seeing how excited I was, they couldn't wait until their units arrived. People here are fantastic and VERY knowledgeable, they saved me from giving up (or at least from being really frustrated) at least three times. My limited experience says if you think you can do without a regular cigarette, then go for it. Also make sure you have extra attys and batteries available. I've always wanted to quit, but never had the willpower until now after researching about e-cigarettes on vaportalk! I'm sure once I get to experience it all and get to feel more healthier, I'll still be around to also help the next person! @NeRo9k - Nero, that's exactly what I really want from this experience is to be completely smoke free! And from what I gather from read on the forums about how everyone is enjoying them it actually makes me excited, it's like waiting for Christmas! I just ordered my starter kit today but can't wait for it to come! @MunkusBFunky - Thanks for the warm welcome! I was actually debating on which model, a lot of people say 510, 801, 901, it took me awhile to figure out alot to figure out what model was what! Glad to hear the positive feedback about the 901, I'm hoping to enjoy it! @FTJoe - Thanks TFJoe! I'm very impressed by the whole e-cigarettes community online! Actually, that was the biggest concern of mine, giving up, or actually trying to keeping up with e-cigarettes having to maintenance; battery life, atomizers burning out, etc. But, it seems like more like a positive thing. I rather sink my money on a healthier alternative then burning money on something that gives me a nasty smoke smell, yellows my teeth and give me a bigger health risk later on in life. Not to mention it's cheaper to get replacements and juice then a pack of cigarettes that burn out after a day or two. Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm actually getting more anxious!!
