Patricia
Sounds like something a child would ask his parents but my very first battery just bit the dust and something tells me they are not to be thrown in the garbage can. If not now I know one day there will be a commercial saying "send us your old batteries for cash". So seriously, what should I do with the batteries as they die? ancient11
Patricia I live in Northeast Georgia and other than car batteries, battery recycling is in its infancy! It took me a while to find a place and it turned out to be an auto parts place. I cannot guarantee that they recycle. every one of the batteries but I can hope. I take my twists apart and take the AA battery out, they won't take it otherwise. I wish you good luck ancient

mcquinn
If you have a local Batteries Plus they recycle them as well. Most end up in the trash or in junk drawers.
