stillcrazy
I saw your video for the VP2 and couldn't understand which atomizer you said you prefer. Also when direct dripping do you pull the stuffing out of the mouthpiece or what exactly.
NeRo9k
Chris likes the 801 low bridge atty from awesomevapor.com. When you direct drip, you can either use a blank cartridge, or pull the 'stuffing' out of cart with a tweezers and use that one.
stillcrazy
thanks NERO for the quick reply.jWhen dripping the 801, how many vapes can one get? Or is that another stupid question?
VegasVapor
There are no such things as stupid questions here! :P How many vapes you get really depends on how many drops you put and it's different for everyone. I don't count my puffs, so I can't tell you how many but with 4 drops on the 801 atty, I find myself getting a good 15 minutes of straight vaping. Like I said, it's different for everyone. So someone else might have a different answer. Hope this helps though.
NeRo9k
That's pretty much the same for me - I'll drop 3-4 drops and I'll vape for a little while, maybe 10-15 long puffs. Juice, drag size, and model all play a role.
TheSmokingMan
I was going thru my email and I found this post from last week, I should have answered it then, sorry for the delay. I also have a VP2 and I took Chris' advice and purchased some "Low Bridge" 801 attys from AwesomeVapor.com, this thing now vapes like a house on fire, no kidding. Theses attys come with dummy carts and don't have the wadding in them like regular carts do. It is intended for you to purchase regular carts separately and use them in place of the dummy cart that comes with the atty. I don't use carts that have the wadding in them, I direct drip and have no need to hassle with the pre-filled carts. In order to direct drip you have to remove the dummy cart or mouthpiece from the atty, drip 3 or 4 drops of e-Juice straight from the bottle into the atty, try to get it in the center and not on the side. Replace the dummy cart or mouthpiece and vape. I normally get 8 to 12 great vapes until I start to taste this funny metallic burning taste, then I know that the atty is dry and it's time to repeat. I started out with a 510 Titan and a DSE901, then I bought a DSE801 and a 4081 or a "Super E" from Totally Wicked, they were all fine, but are nothing compared to a VP2 with a 801LB atty and direct dripping. So far, it's a vapers paradise for me. I'll probably try a VP3 when it comes out just to see what a 5 volt mod can do, but as it stands, I have found my "Sweet Spot".
