In my car I actually have two ports, one that runs only when the car is on and another that allows cell phone charging etc when the car is off. I beleive heat is not good for the bat though.Will my car explode? Unlikely. Could it cause a fire? Possibly. Maybe if I put it into some sort of insulated package or something.
