jmhester
I ordered the 5 pack of 801 atomizers from Totally Wicked when I picked up some of their e-liquid. They look so cool in silver with the little devil head on them. Perfect for a VP2! Popped a fresh one in my new VP2 and vaped for about a week when this morning it just died. No sizzle, no vape. Dead as a doornail (whatever that means). Has anybody else had that experience? They are cheap but if they don't last more than a week, that's getting pretty expensive. I'm trying my denture cleaner treatment on it right now. We'll see if it comes back, but I really doubt it will. Christopher
Nope it's dead. It happens. It used to happen ALL the time back when ecigs first came out, but it's rare these days. At least that fast anyway. I would hit up TW for a replacement. And yes I've had it happen to me, it just doesn't happen often.

Well, I've been vaping on this DSE801 atty that I got in a kit from Arno. I got it a month ago and have used it on the DSE801 batteries all that time. Last Monday (7 days ago), I received my VP2 and I put it one the VP2 and have use it all day, every day, until this morning, Poof! it quit working, one hit was great the next was nothing!. Now I am using one of the original attys that came with the VP2, it's OK, but not like the DSE801 atty. I have ordered some Low Bridge attys from Arno tonight so I'll see how that goes. I think that I saw where Chris changes his atty every month on his VP2, no matter what.
Christopher
Yup that's true I usually change my atty every 3-4 weeks. Mostly becaue I want fresh taste (the atomizer just starts to taste weird after a while) That being said though I did get my Ultrasonic cleaner in the mail and I just ran 3 atomizers through a water bath. I havn't tried them out yet, but as soon as I do I'll let you know how it goes and whip up a quick video.
jmhester
It did make me wonder if the VP2 was maybe burning up the atty but that didn't make scientific sense to me. Just a fluke I would guess.
Christopher
I highly doubt the VP2 causes the atomizers to burn out. I've used at least 6 atomizers on the VP unit over a period of a month or 2 and I've only had one burn out. It was a Joye atty as well. (Joye's QC has been going down as of late I've noticed)
