SonjaWi
So, I've tried to clean my batteries from time to time. Around and in the hole and the small holes, all not a problem, but the deep groove around the main thread is getting kind of black and gunky, and I don't seem to find anything that fits into that groove to clean inside. Anybody has an insider tip as to what tool to use? I think they don't charge quite right anymore because there is too much stuff in there. Thanks for any pointers! Viper Ron
I use a toothpick or a straight pin.
mcquinn
A toothpick would work nothing there but aluminum and a rubber grommet.
seaspine
If you know any intensive care type nurses, a trach brush works great for cleaning all those hard to reach nooks and crannies. I inadverently brought 1 home from work one day and use it all the time. Jimbo
ninjabatgirl
Q-tip? That's what I use to clean the threads on my ego style. It gets right in there. Hope that helps.
ninjabat
Trach brush? It was hard to tell from the pics I saw but they look like the cleaning brushes that come with pneumatic hvlp spray guns. I hope the bristles aren't as harsh... I'd use an old toothbrush before one of my gun cleaners I think.
