taylorkoch
I quit analogs a few years ago with a basic 510 kit. I liked vaping but did not like dealing with charging batterys and filling cartomisers all the time. And went back to analogs. I am looking to quit again. I am looking at a lavatube 2 from volcano. I also want to get a tank but conffused on all the types like dual or single coil, and low and normal resistance. Can some one explain or point me in the rite dirrection. I have done a lot of reading and searching and came up with nothing.
Jeffb
I prefer the Vision Vivi Nova 3 http://www.vaporalley.com/Vision-Vivi-Nova-Tank-System-V3_p_274.html Edited January 13, 2013 by jeffb Uma
mse12
Your basic two tanks are clearomizer types such as what jeffb linked to and carto tanks such as this. Carto tanks are MY preference but definitely not everyone's. Low resistance or standard will not have much meaning if you get a VV mod such as a lavatube. In the day before everyone and their brother had VV LR would give a better vape to those with lower voltage devices. The vapor is warmer and just generally more appealing for most. The SR would give a cooler vape which some liked too. I say give both tanks a shot. You may like both or only one of them. With the carto tanks you will be required to purchase and punch cartos. You can buy them prepunched if you want, which I would suggest if you've never done it before. Hopefully this helps clear some of the confusion up. Happy vaping and welcome to VT! taylorkoch
Ok thanks that helps a lot. What is the diffrence between single and dual coil if any.
mse12
Dual coils produce more vapor for some individuals but at the same time drink more juice. Dual coils are also picky when it comes to variable voltage devices. Many devices will not allow you to push a dual coil to voltage it needs in order to perform to its potential. Many such as the original lavatube will scale back the voltage to whatever it thinks you need regardless what you set it at. At the same time there are many vapers that swear by dual coils. For me it's not worth the costs or problems associated with them. I stick to single coil boge or smok cartos. Uma
