joe2003 Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 The WHO does not care about individuals. Quit or die,it's the same message from every so called health org. Besides in their eyes smokers/vapors are a less productive more costly,as far as health care,2nd class citizen that they would be better off without. It's the same reasoning that lets drunk drivers have the freedom to be multiple repeat offenders, sooner or later they'll die from their actions and be one less statistic drawing from the health care resources. Lets face it,with 7 billion people in the world, individuals have no value to the so called leaders we have.Any advancements will have to come as a collective effort so that those in power see a loss in revenue or we won't have any bargaining power at all.... hmmm guess i better get off this soap box and go take a nap before someone decides I have strong and possibly anti-establishment opinions GreenKnight 1
danpio1217 Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Great article, thanks for sharing that. The key point to me whas the line "Prohibiting the safest form of nicotine delivery will increase, not stem, the calamity of cigarette-related death." So true, and it's really difficult to understand why the FDA and countries that have banned ecigs take the stance that they do, especially when as the article states, their "safe and effective" nicotine delivery systems (patch, gum) are often neither safe or effective.
DerStadtschutz Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Is it really all that difficult to understand why? The people who run this world don't give a rat's *** about us beyond our ability to make money for them and keep them in power.
kitsune Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 That was a great article !!! e-cigarette users have climbed to amazing numbers. we do have a strong voice, the longer e-cigs are around the harder and harder it will be to get rid of them. Thank goodness government agencies are slow moving.
BHam Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Great read jeffb, we need more MDs speaking on our behalf. When will people listen!?!
