willmon22
http://www.free-cigs.com/Ego-CE5-Replaceable-Head-Clearomizer-_p_109.html I got the kit here with its 3 heads. I am currently using the 2.4 ohm head and I can't really get the volts up to 4. If I go to 4 or even 4.1 I get a burnt taste. I have had it soaking for over half an hour and have been using it a little here and there. Am I doing something wrong? It just seems that way and I can't seem to get the tip to screw in and get it lined up center like I believe it is suppose to be.
Rixter
Sounds like a bad atty head. You should be able to max out (and avoid popping a coil) at around 4.4v with your 2.4Ω head...that's a little above a coil-safe 8w. To get the roughly the same 8w vape, try the 1.8Ω head at 3.8v or the 2.8Ω head at 4.8v. As for the alignment issue, my first ViVi Nova Tank had the same problem in that the atty post wasn't completely straight...let the vendor know about it quickly and they might send out another straight away. willmon22
Ok thanks. So how would I go about getting it to be straight? It would seem that the whole post is croked as it is hitting the wall of the clearomizer on one side.
willmon22
Well I sent them a message they said that the issue is typical and easily addressed. But it isn't the head that is improperly alligned. It is the the thing that screws into the bottom and the atomizer head screws into at the top. It is touching the side of the plastic tube and I ended up getting a scratch on the tube trying to get the head to get straight. But it isn't going to get straight as the thing it screws into is crooked.
willmon22
It would seem that these are easier to flood than regular cartomizers. I filled it up a little bit past the 1.6ml mark and it ended up absorbing it above that and almost went higher than the cover to the atomizer. I was just not getting any vapor and didn't know what was wrong and then realized that and sucked some of the juice out and it seemed to of cleared the issue up. But the post the head screws onto I found seems to not be crooked. As I took it out and held it and turned it slowly and seen it isn't crooked. So what exactly is the problem is it the tube? Can it somehow be formed improperly? As when I look at it It would seem one side is almost straight up and down and the other side is possibly a little wider and more pyramidy. Rixter
I'd send them a picture and if it is is defective and they won't send you a new one, then word will spread quickly about their defective merchandise replacement policy on this forum...nobody should get stuck with bad gear. Be sure to post when you get an answer so we'll all know who to continue to buy supplies from and who not to deal with. willmon22
It is from http://www.free-cigs.com I have been talking to them and I was told to try to bend the post into place. I am not quite certain how I would do this. The device itself works fine just it kind of makes it difficult to put my needle in there to fill it up. I just put the 2.8 ohm head on it and it is going up to almost 4.8 with no burning issues. It isn't as so much as it is a little difficult to fill. I would have just expected it to be straight and not crooked like it is. Here is a picture of the device on the site: http://www.free-cigs.com/Ego-CE5-Replaceable-Head-Clearomizer-_p_109.html it looks fine there just it would appear. I think I will just have to deal with it. I really don't want to have to make them have to go through any further trouble to have to send another one.
