willmon22
http://www.free-cigs.com/Ego-Pass-through-VV-Stainless-Steel_p_126.html I believe this is a good price and I think I will get it. Has anyone had any of these and used them? I was going to get an ego twist but it only goes to 4.8v and this one goes to 6v. Has anyone used either of these so they can give me their input on them? willmon22
That is about the cheapest one I have found too on an alternate site that has a cheaper charger.

willmon22
HALLOWEENFC Here is a coupon code to get 5% off that is good through Halloween Hope I get to get one and not too many decide to take advantage of this and they get sold out again. They rarely have coupons and I had to chat with them to get the coupon code I couldn't find one anywhere. This is for free-ecigs.com and it has to be for one of there variable voltage devices like the link I have provided.
willmon22
I think I am more interested in the ego vv. As it can increase by .1 volts and the twist increases in .2 volts also it can't go all the way up to 6 volts. And since you won't get 4.8V on the twist anyway as I am sure when it is under load it probably gets you about 4 volts maybe 4.5 if you are lucky. willmon22
I guess no one has a comment on the device? I found that this one isn't exactly like the other ones that people have been complaining about the button. This one looks to have a button just like the ego. And better yet this one actually has a cap for the end instead of a unprotected usb port like the other one has.
Jeffb
Its a cool looking device that has some nice features. I think you should buy it and tell us how it works for ya.

willmon22
Thanks for the input jeff. Just to let you know the one that I have listed has free shipping. Also I would like to know how you searched for find this? I searched for Ego-V or even Ego Variable Voltage and could find little to nothing aside from one that is just a little cheaper after shipping and a coupon is applied but it is a little cheaply made. Here it is: http://www.aquavaporcig.com/Variable-Voltage-eGo-V-Pass-Through-Battery_p_458.html I found out about it by asking freecigs if he would match the price and he wanted the link and I gave it to him. He then said that it is manufactured by a different company and it is also cheaply made. Basically it has a button that is rubber and is nearly flush with the device as well as no cap on the end. Only down side to getting the one from freecigs is that it has no box and manual like this one I just listed does.
Jeffb
I didnt do a search. I just happened to be looking on that site and found it
willmon22
Well that is cool. Well I ordered it and as well as some new tanks that have the wicks. Anyways I found even more devices similar called the kgo-v which happen to be the same just a different name. I was getting the one from freecigs as it is suppose to have a button that is identical to the egos. I just don't want the ego twist as I don't think it is near as acurate under load as this one should be. I seen a review for the 18650 or whatever battery it has in it and it was always almost dead on for its volts when measured with one of those volt meters hooked up to it. It was off by .01 volts which I think doesn't matter at all as other devices end up losing up to .5 volts I believe and a half a volt really does matter. Rixter
I found even more devices similar called the kgo-v which happen to be the same just a different name. I bought an eGo-V with LCD from Ecig-Parts.com, which is identical to the kGo-VV that Sweet-Vapes.com sells, but I wish I had known beforehand about the eGo Passthrough VV that you bought from FreE-Cigs.com. The one I have has a button on it that's almost impossible to find in the dark. that I did on mine just after I got it. I still love the performance, but the flush mounted button is kind of a drag. willmon22
Yeah, I know sorry that you have to go through such a terrible quality button. But as a suggestion maybe you can get some silly putty or something and put it over the rubber button and see if it makes it easier. Anyways if you decide that you want to get the one I am getting in the mail monday hopefully I heard it is suppose to have a button that seems to be identical to genuine joyetech egos. But just as a note it isn't joyetech. The one I am getting is trueman according to freecigs when I talked to them on chat. I will let you know more when I get it. One advantage I thought was cool I think I mentioned in the previous post is that it is only off by .01 volts under load at least that was the 18650 or whatever model it was. Rixter
Don't get me wrong...the button works fine, but it's just really hard to find without looking. In fact, one of the cool things about this version is that if the button ever gives you trouble, you can replace it. There are replacement "button bands" that can be bought for 45¢, but not one that has a raised button on it. If somebody would come up with one that has a raised button on it, I'm sure they would sell. Edited November 4, 2012 by Rixter
willmon22
They do, the one I have has one but I guess it is a little bit different in a few ways. But I am guess you are meaning the store that you bought yours from. Edited November 4, 2012 by willmon22
Rixter
Yeah...I meant a replacement button for mine that has a raised button on it.
willmon22
Well I didn't get my package today. The expected time was suppose to be today. Too bad that they don't have the ability to transport packages instantly with a transporter beam yet. As this would really make things cheaper and a lot more convenient. willmon22
Well I got it today. And I must say it looks awesome. It looks just like the joyetech ego aside from having a variable voltage attachment on the bottom. It looks like it can actually be unscrewed and taken off but I didn't order the one with a removable battery. Its button is just like the joyetech ego aside from it not being as thick as the button. As it is lined up with the bottom of the device but I can live with that. Also the puff counter is a plus especially the 5 on and 5 off. And the lock in voltage is good too so I won't accidentally increase or decrease it. Anyways as a whole it is almost perfect for me. I am so happy with the device I am going to even put up a youtube review of it and I don't really bother to do that most of the time. I forgot to add that this one actually has a cap for the end where you plug it into for a passthrough unlike others. With this you can just put the end on and it won't get dust and other things to possible damage it or get the connection to not work as well as it once did.
