Well as the title says i'm back. I decided to come back as I am going to be vaping again. I just can't stand the taste of the cigarettes and cigars I have been smoking even though they are usually 1.50-2.50 a pack which is almost nothing since a pack lasts me weeks. Anyways I was wondering about polycarbonate tubes on tanks are they really at risk for cracking? As I have one and I just heard that they are at risk for cracking for specific ejuices. Mine hasn't cracked yet but I am going to try to avoid it.

Welcome back. I believe you're supposed to avoid juices that contain cinnamon. Im sure others will chime in with what they know.

Thanks jeffb. I have never used any cinnamon ejuice so I guess I should be fine. I guess I will just have to get a tank that will be able to withstand all juices. If someone could give me a suggestion of what type and where that would be great. I have one of these: http://www.mister-e-liquid.com/6ml-dualcoil-carto-tank-in-silver/ if I could get one that has glass or whatever material it is that works best that is basically like this one that would be great. I really love these as it holds a good amount and it gives great taste as well as a good throat hit and tons of vapor.

When I first started vaping I had several clearomizers crack due to the high citrus content of the juice. With the newer ones these days that hasn't been an issue. And welcome back!

I haven't had any trouble with my tanks, even with cinnamon flavors. but apparently cinnamon and menthols can cause cracking, but I think thats mostly with the clearomizers.

You may have one of the following then kitsune: metal, pyrex (glass), or polypropylene tanks I would find the place it is purchased from and see if it states what type of tank it is. As mine is polycarbonate for sure. Surprisingly though it has gotten cloudy or cracked yet. I am just hoping it doesn't do this as I am not wanting to have a plastic taste out of my tank. Well I have left some eliquid in mine for several months and now that I am cleaning it the top and bottom came off and now they won't stay on snuggly but it doesn't leak surprisingly. Is there any way I can fix this and make it secure?
