Uma
Every once in awhile, something comes along that makes you jump for joy. The Roller mod, for example, is one that fits the bill. This is my first impression, not really a review, more of a "CHECK THIS OUT!!!" type post. I'm putting here in the review section, but if it belongs in general or somewhere else, feel free to move as needed. Thanks! Roller mod from Atmizoo at http://www.atmizoo.com/ Completely repairable Completely all mechanical Comes with 510 connection Button on the side, towards the top Battery cap for easy change outs Beautiful ergodynamic delightful button. Telescopic features from 18350-18650 Stainless Steel construction Lifetime warranty on all SS performance parts and a 2yr warranty on all other materials. I use a ShortStop re-settable safety fuse with mine, with AW-IMR batteries. I'm sure the regular good Protected batteries will fit too. (I haven't tried, don't know). I don't have a Kick yet, but I don't know why it couldn't be used. Just roll it up to smallest length, insert Kick, extend the tube, insert battery, and vape away! It will fit in all sizes, except maybe not the 18650 without an adapter tube that is in planning production as I type. It's quality SS, beautifully engineered, beautifully crafted. It is sturdy, but not heavy, It's perfect in weight and diameter. It doesn't wobble on the table like a Twist or an LT does. It's not tall and skinny, but it's not fat like an SB either. It's about the same diameter as my Zenesis standard, except it's nicer to hold because it's lighter in weight and the button is exceptionally crazy good. Performance is great!!! I had (got!!) to take a tiny screwdriver to the 510 connection post and raise it a notch for contact with my genuine Mini DID. It has an adjustable center post!!! It fires right up, and produces like a champ. (I use a rebuildable atty, called the DID which I also love. If you find you have to hit the button for 3-5 seconds warm up before taking a draw, it's your wick and coil, not the mod!! Adjust your coil, or wick, and watch out ladies and gentlemen, cuz this combo rocks!!). The company is active on a few of the review threads on the net, actively seeking feedback that can help them improve. They are there for us, to solve any and all problems, issues, questions, and what not. They just released the Roller recently, and already have taken to heart and to task improvements for the mod. The new updated versions will be ready for release very very soon. They are in the process of testing the new improvements as I type. They will send the upgrades to all purchasers for free (minus shipping?) and then all new purchasers will be receiving the new upgraded ROLLERS from then on. Either way, you win with this mod. Buy it now and improve it when the parts are ready, or wait a day-week and buy the improved version. I'm glad I have mine now, fwiw. I can't stop rambling about how crazy good this mod is. I absolutely love it, in all it's various sizes. Here's a teaser video of it. (notice he has gripper gloves on. It glides smooth, yes, but unless you have a great snap/twist action, it takes more times than shown in video. My gson does it in about 7 snap/twist, and I do it in about 17 lol. I need more practice. But yes, it is smooth!!!) Here is a reviewer's (Romastino) take on it: disclaimer: I'm not a reviewer, I'm just an excited user. Uma
I know, right. Great concept. I think Imeo's GG is the only other all mechanical with a side button and his is a pinkie bottom side button. (oh, and the GG copycat Adam). I forgot to mention, the buttery smoothness of the battery cap threads too. They're literally so smooth you neither hear nor feel any thing at all. Just like butter, literally. A lot of products get the "buttery" seal of approval even when you can hear a squeek or feel a bit of tension here and there. But not the Roller. The Roller deserves the "buttery seal of approval" with it's battery cap threading!
Uma
Here are a few comparison pics. Please forgive the lighting, blurriness, overall pathetic picture taking skills of both camera and user. Bottoms: Zenesis Standard and Roller (Roller's serial number is on the bottom, wish you could see it!) next is Twist and Roller bottoms

Uma
and there's more to share with you! I already mentioned how the company is acting in top notch fashion. Taking our feedback and acting without haste. If ever there is a problem, or a question, they are more than happy to help you... and sometimes, they go beyond that and do something incredibly generous and kind to someone they don't even know. I, personally, can vouch for that. Let me tell you what happened. I had no idea that the DiD came with extra o-rings... so... I put o-rings everywhere. On every itty bitty screw, on cap grooves, on my fingers and toes... It wasn't until someone said "Uma! Why do you have an o-ring there?" that I realized things were amiss. They taught me how to remove them, using a fork twine, and from there I just kept learning gennys until I was educated enough to be able to help other newbies with their learning curves. I came a long way! Well, Jim, the creator and seller of the DID, got such a big kick out of my learning process that he surprised me with a specially engraved Mini DiD when I purchased it. He made a small batch for a select few... Rick for his videos and lessons, dSpin for his gorgeous pics and tips, and a few others for their time and effort as well. I am so honored to have one of these beauties! It says "To my friend" and is signed by him as well. How many Vendors do that???!!!! As I was out browsing one day, I stumbled across the Stage One video of the Roller. I immediately posted it in the DID thread, so that others could see it too. One of the posters, Outadadark, happened to be visiting the thread that day and was so taken with it, he contacted Atmizoo and purchased one right away for himself.... and one for me!! He hadn't been by the forums for a long while, being overwhelmingly busy with the Olympics, and the Roller video was great timing for him. With much appreciation, he not only purchased one for me, (PFF), but he mentioned my DID journey to the company. How many posters do that???!! Manos, a graphic artist and designer at Atmizoo, loved the journey story and the PFF gifting spirit of Outadadark so much, that he took it upon himself to design a Celtic design with my name around it. It is an original design on a Celtic symbol that means "to move foreward with spirit and with earth". How many Vendors do that????!!!! I shed a tear of amazement and joy every day, I have been so blessed by these 3 wonderful people. The Tri is meaningful in triple ways. I will do my best to someday, PFF somehow, someway, somewhere. How many posters do that??!! God I hope I don't let ya down. Edited September 26, 2012 by Uma Jdog

Uma
. OMG!!!! I can't believe I forgot to mention this, but it's also a Lockable button!!! At first I didn't use it, but now it's old hat and it's easy to use, even with just one hand... once you practice of course. OHHH!!! and the button is so comfy, that it's almost or actually really is, as nice as pushing a keyboard key. It's so worth saving the pennies for. I'm going to save up after Christmas is over and done with and buy me a backup one. I would fall apart if I lost this one, and not just because of the specialness of it either, but because it's just so dang p e r f e c t in weight and sizes. Uma
My free update is on it's way, it's been mailed, tracking number sent! More good news!! : On Friday, November 23, at 22:00 GMT, a small flock of Rollers and a pack of Dingos will appear at www.atmizoo.com. In order to process the incoming orders as fast as possible, and in an effort to make the opportunities equal for everyone, we have decided to split the new batch of Rollers and Dingos in small groups, and distribute their availability over multiple dates. The second group of Rollers / Dingos will land on Monday, November 26, at 20:00 GMT, with the next one following closely. Till tomorrow, then! Uma
Scott's (igetcha69) review of the DINGO is out! The DINGO is smaller than the ROLLER, because it is not telescopic... unless you purchase ala carte the roller tubes too!.... otherwise it is a sweet little 18350 mod, with the wonderful ROLLER button. Uma
The Kick Extension is out! Mine is in mat finish, to compliment the mat finish etching I showed you earlier. I love it! Also, the new updates, ... silver plated connection switch, and the recessed 510 connections ... have arrived and are working flawlessly.
Uma
It just dawned on me that I never got around to posting Scott's review on the DINGO/ROLLER. The review is centered around the Dingo (small 18350 size without the telescoping powers of the Roller), but he touts the Roller just as highly. Check it out. Oh, and by the way, after all this time, the Roller is still my top favorite mod ever.
CascadianExotics
From the first time I saw your Roller, Uma, I fell in love....the clean simplicity, and functionality of this mod are unparalleled. I must own this mod!!! All the reviews I've seen (which are seemingly few and far between) have been overwhelmingly positive. What surprises me is the lack of a following for this mod. So, Uma, as an owner of both the Roller and a Poldiac - a mod known for having a devoted following - what would you say are the quirks keeping the Roller out of the same esteem that people give mods like the Poldiac, GG, and Chi-You? Uma
It's everything you like about it and more, you'll love it! It's actually more popular than you hear about. You hear about the other ones more often, because they are either newer or because you can only find them on lists (like the sweet Caravella mod). Also, for a short while, they needed their updates, which put a hold on the fever. Some of the people couldn't wait for an update, while others couldn't bother with updating, and still others couldn't figure out how to do it right. Even so, a lot of the collectors now have them AGAIN... these are people who buy the newest latest and greatest, try them out, trade them (or sell them to raise the money) for the next newest latest greatest mod on the market. They are adamant about trying out every new item that comes on the market. However, selling or trading the Roller seems to always leaves regrets until they get a new one. They have become so popular, they now sell out in record time. Trust me, they're popular, especially now that the new ones all have the updates provided. Atmizoo has a facebook page where they announce the next batches to be released. You can find it also on the bottom of their Atmizoo.com page. They have a Blog on their site too, to keep peeps updated with tutorials, news, and all Atmizoo related things. They have a FAQ too, and videos, and... well, they have the best ... I mean THE BEST!! customer service anywhere ever. Plus they help posters in the various threads across the net. Which one are you going to get? Matte? Polished? Combo? Dingo? Roller? LOL, I'm so excited for you!! They are a dream to use, a real pleasure. You can't go wrong with a Roller.
CascadianExotics
Thanks for the info, Uma!!! Stand by, as I might have more questions for you. For me, Roller SS. Probably going for a matte finish. Polished and my clumsy self do not mix too well, LOL!!! Uma
Uma
That is a very nice one! My next one will be the matte finish too. The polish isn't that bad fingerprint wise, (until you capture it in photo lol), and doesn't drive one ocd crazy like most polished mods do, but even so, because I already have a shiney, my next one will be matte. haha, I'll be here! or close by! (I use solar power, so I kinda keep the same hours as the sun lol). Ask away! If I don't know the answer, I'll hunt it down for ya! No problem. I love reasons to go Roller surfing. Uma
I believe today (Saturday) was a new batch on the shelf too lol. Go figure! If I remember right, I think Vape Revolution, in Las Angeles carries the Roller for them. I'll check tomorrow when the sun comes back up. They might have an online store now, they used to just be brick and mortar (B&M).

The Vaperev store not only has a newsletter to sign up for, but they have the "notify me when product is in" button, both found on the product itself detail page. Good luck guys!! P.S. To Ninja one, be sure to sign up ahead of time, put one in your cart or wish list, and hit that buy button as soon as you get the notification.
