I have a noobie question so I will put it here.

How many analogs would you say the 501 cart is equal to? It seems like it is only one good analog in my opinion. I know the 501 loves the juice, so it seems it needs refills often.

What say VT?

If you are talking about the "pre-filled car's" then I would say you are right, a typical 510 cart is no more than 1 cig in my opinion also. And if you direct drip your own juice you probably will get even less. Now maybe if you direct drip AND either use a pre-filled cart, or one you filled yourself with juice, you may get a little more than 2, but not much. It doesn't really seem to matter whether you use your own juice or use the carts, the 510 definitely goes thru the juice.

I'm just refilling the pre-filled cartridges. So, it seems that once refilled they might be 2 analogs.

Jiffy I invested a lot of time energy into trying to make the carts work. How much you get out of it depends on HOW you fill it, WHAT stuffing you are using, HOW you replace that stuffing, and the temperment of your atomizer.

The 510 does get pretty hot and can suck up more juice, but EVERY atty I have bought so far has been different. Some are hotter than others, some have an arc to their life span.

There are several videos on you-tube on how to refill your carts and how to replace the stuffing.

You will definitley get more than 1 or 2 analogs worth out of a cart, but after the first couple of puffs it will always taste like burning fiber.

You have to work the liquid down into the cart. It is not full the first time you see it pool at the top. I found using a syringe is the easiest (and creepiest)way to fill a cart.

That being said I found the easiest thing to do was cary a bottle of liquid around in my unused lighter pocket and live in flavor country every time I wanted to vape. You will get at least 1 analog worth this way. You also know how much liquid you have at all times, with no waste. Sometimes with dripping you think it is done, but you have to set it down for a minute and let the atomizer cool down.

That is great advise Fenwick. I have a Titan 510 and I wasn't impressed with it. I don't use it anymore, I have become rather fond of the DSE901 and I direct drip. I have found that the direct method is much simpler, no refilling carts, no burning fibers and without a cart in the chamber there is more room for heat dissipation and for the vapor to flow. If I drip 3 drops onto the atomizer it usually doesn't leak and it is the equivalent to about 2 analogue cigarettes and then I can put it down for a while and get some work done. Abandon the carts, direct dripping is the way to go!
