custom4life
hey everyone, just wondering what i should buy. i am going to be ordering my first vapoizer and dont know what one i should get. i really like the janty stick size the built in passthrough the sealed design and the batt life but i think its made of plastic and im worried about it breaking cause it will be in my pocket alot. i am a car audio installer and moving around in cars and the sh*t in my pockets takes a beating. i was amlost set on the janty stick untill i saw the review they did on the vp1 the only thing i can see neg for me is the size (but i guess i can always just take the atty off) and that it may leak i really think i am leaning over more to the vp1 side but i just want feed back to kind of push me over the egde in either direction thanks
Sinikal
Hey Custom, I personally have both the VP1 and the Janty stick. With e-cigs in general you have to worry about something breaking in your pocket. The VP1 is solid stainless steel so having that bad boy in your pocket isnt going to ruin anything. The JS however is plastic and seems a bit more fragile to me. The JS is also half the size of the VP1 when it is put together, and the JS comes with a nifty little carrying case that can clip to your pocket or belt. I guess they all have there pluses and minuses. I would suggest as far as durability, the VP1 would probably work best for you. I myself bought the VP1 just for its rugged build. I can see it lasting a looonngg time. Either or, the JS is an awesome device, its smaller and has a passthrough which is nice if your at the computer alot, and the VP1 is built to last, a taller device but you can easily unscrew the atty from it. One thing i didnt like was the atomizers like Chris and Sean said in there review that came with the VP1. So you might want to invest in some different attys. I have a 510 as well so i just bought an adapter for it, works like a charm. Edited October 7, 2009 by Sinikal
custom4life
thanks sin. i think i am going to go with the vp1. as you said it is built to last and that is what i an looking for. im sure ill deal with the size. as far as the atty goes i know in there review they said that it was a 2 hole atty but on vaprlife.com it says its now a 4 hole. idk if they talked to him and he ditched the 2 hole and went with the 4 hole but either way it sounds like an awesome device and i wont be disappointed. thanks

I've got the 510,901, the dragoon, the super mini, and I myself also ordered a VP1 (should be here tomorrow) I'm really excited about it. For one, I'm actually going to like the fact that its bigger thatn other e-cigs. I've already probably lost one or two batts and one or two atty's from the combined e-cig kits I have. These thing are so small they are hard to keep track of. With the VP1, its a solid piece of equipment.
EasyE
I was in the exact same situation 2 weeks ago. I ended up getting the Janty stick. I have never used the VP1 so i cant speak on that one but my Janty stick is the BOMB. Battery that last ALL day ,fits in your hand(its smooth and feels great)and just delivers mad amounts of vapor. I am in love and the search for the holy grail of vapor is now over.
Christopher
Both are very good models but I think the VP will hold up better, just make sure that when you put it in your pocket you take off the atomizer. Other wise you risk snapping the thread connector while in your pocket. That honestly goes with any ecig of that size. Oh and welcome to the forums

jmhester
Even though I've been cussing the Janty Stick alot in the forum, I really do love mine. I have 2 and they are the ones I use all the time. I took it to the casino and vaped all night on 1 battery. The case it comes with is pure genius. It's a leather case that clips on your belt or pocket and has 2 elastic pockets on either site. I put an extra battery in one and a 3ml bottle of juice in the other. Just pick up the compact little kit and your good to go. I did order a VP2 which I hope will come in soon. I have a feeling the Stick won't last forever and I figure I could pass the VP2 down to my grandkids. The Stick is plastic and feels like it's good for a year or so. But for compact design and ease of carrying, the Janty Stick is the best!

I broke out a brand new Totally Wicked atty for the occasion. I swear you could drive a truck over this thing and it would still work. The construction is outstanding! I got the TURQUOISE LED just to be different. It's so cool! I have an 801 to 510 adapter for my Janty Stick and it works great on there, too. I'm super impressed with this thing! That's waht I thought. Better go with the VP1, custom4life you'll like it much better than anything else, I do!
