I bought 2 650mah batteries on the first of August. When I try plugging one into the charger, the light won't always go red. I have screw and unscrew it dozens on times for it to work. Also last night I was charging it, must have been charging for 3 hrs or more, and the light never went green. I have a twist that I just got, charges fine on the same charger.

Try cleaning the connectors (I just use a tissue) on the batteries and the charger. I've had this happen occasionally and cleaning solved the problem.

With most PVs being cheaply mass-produced in China, I would imagine that the fail rate is pretty high, but there could be quite a few reasons that your eGo stopped charging. It might be as simple as the center post being pressed down a little too far to make a solid connection with your charger. Since the center post on most devices isn't solidly connected to the device itself but is surrounded by a silicon insulating sleeve, it can usually be lifted back up with a small knife point, pick, or tweezers. Just make sure that your device is turned off so as not to short anything out while you're working on lifting the post back up.

In the event that lifting the post doesn't work, I would contact the vendor immediately and see if they'll replace it. I have had 100% success in replacing broken gear when it's relatively new...vendors don't want bad reviews for defective items.

a video I found on the technique.

Yeah I always clean the connections with Kleenex, making sure they are dry and clean. It worked today but it took abit of messing around. I'll have to email them and see what they say.
