Christopher Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 What a great article. On heart medication myself this is a nice reassurance:)
Uma Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Great news! and good to see Dr. K's research was well accepted and respected at the major convention.
kitsune Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 We can use the good publicity. We all know we feel better, buts its good to see some validation. Thanks for the share.
danpio1217 Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Looks like the article was pulled, the link says page is not found
Boostedrex Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 New link. The old one apparently had a typo in the story so they revised it. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-08-25/e-cigarettes-not-tied-to-risk-of-heart-disease-in-study.html
Vapornoob Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 (edited) A good friend of mine has had some heart issues in the last couple years, not from smoking, but this is a reassuring article I can show him to get him to make the switch to eCigs! Great article to give everyone peace of mind that they can vape without worry of heart disease! Thanks for sharing. Edit: My favorite part of this article - "Previous studies have found that the electronic devices would have to be smoked daily for four to 12 months to achieve the levels of nitrosamines, a carcinogen, that are present in a single tobacco cigarette, the researchers said." HenleySmoker Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I love this article! It is good that there are real studies being performed that don't vilify the industry. Thanks for sharing.
seanben Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 That is a real time informative news about e-cig and is very important.Pleaes keep sharing and posting this new ..
ninjabat Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Confusing 'contradiction' on the nitrosamines in there. First it says previous studies say you need to vape 12 months to get the level of one cig. Then it says a couple paragraphs down that no traces of nitrosamine were found in their own study.
