Jdog
so this morning i got this new atty - cisco Aero bridgeless atty (1.5ohm) first off, Im going to say that I am in flavor country! this is nothing compared to the smoktek attys i had used before, and even better i think than the vision brand attys. i think NOW i now what everyone is talking about... i must say, at first look - it doesn't look much different than the smoktek atty and this cause me to be skeptical at first. (it also had some factory juice in it which kinda meh-ed me) but so far i have just been wow-ed i've been vaping a home blend sour peach/grape/hint of apple 24mg and it is soo sooo good! i am still getting used to DD so i vaped it dry twice now but i fixed it right quick with a drop of juice. and the taste is completely fine. I was worried that since its a more expensive atty it would be less forgiving, but it's awesome so far! apparently i can clean it out and re-use it a few times, so i guess we will see how that goes when the time comes... anyways, this is getting long - i just thought i would share with everyone! cheerio! picture: http://imgur.com/Gk9kG Edited July 31, 2012 by Jdog
Jeffb
Sounds good so far. How much are they?
RBAstic
Congratulations on your new purchase. Yes, this atty is exceptional. Make sure you do not dry burn. I notice that the higher end atomizers are more sensitive.
Jdog
they were $12 i think, before shipping. i actually did dry burn it a few times now O_o and 2 drops of juice fixes it right quick! i was actually surprised at how forgiving it has been to me so far... and so far i have had zero overflow! i figured i was doomed cause of the open airway but so far i havent' made any messes which makes me happy ordered another atty from them right after cause the hubby was jealous- it came today...he got a cisco h^2 bridgeless - and he has been waving it in my face all day telling me how good it is. Jdog
atty update: I alch washed my atty for the first time yesterday. not because it was tasting clogged or dirty but mainly because i wanted to change flavor and i wanted to see what would happen. Turns out, it works great! no noticeable drop in vapor quality or taste. So far...I'm quite happy with this purchase... also, i am finally getting the hang of DD, not getting so much juice-in-mouth syndrome.....
Viper Ron
Jdog, you should try a 306 XL Drip Tip and if your using an eGo type batt try a Drip Shield.
Jdog
@viperron i have a drip shield, but it is a bit long for my atty (the aero is a short atty - doesn't have much extra room on top) and since i have yet to experience any spillage i kind of gave up... o_O should I try again? ah! i think i see where the tip comes in.... atm I am enjoying a handblown glass tip and the low profile of my superT .... I'll keep that combo on tap though...sounds pretty good...
DAYVAPE
Jdog, you should try a 306 XL Drip Tip and if your using an eGo type batt try a Drip Shield. I couldn't agree more! Jdog: You can also use one of these little guys... allowing you to still use your favorite drip tips: http://shop.cherryva...versal-0047.htm I use these all the time now. You just may need to use a '510-510' adapter... http://www.empiremod..._p/510-510s.htm to lengthen everything a bit so the drip shield works. I don't vape without using a drip shield these days... allowing me to enjoy dripping 8-10 drops at a time with no issues at all! Jdog
so here it is, the day this atty dies. I have been using the same Aero atty as initially reviewed in this post. I have used it exclusively until now. It stopped working so I tested it and sure enough, it's dead. but it was a great run. on another note: it heat up my battery inside my precise+ is that bad? did it short out the battery? Jdog
so, i have been using this same aero since i got it (see 1st post) and it finally died overall, it was a good run. I'll probably be keeping a few of those around... on another note though, when it was shorted I tried to use it on my precise+ (before i knew it was dead) and it heat up my battery inside my vape. is that bad? should i chuck the battery?
