fabiogaucho
Hi guys. I am very new to ecigs (vaping continuously for a week, though I had some earlier experiences), but I am already confident I can stop smoking analogs with them. In fact, the smoke and smell of burnt tobacco already repulses me. Also, I am in urgent need to stop smoking (no details necessary). I smoked about a pack a day because of the restrictions in the US - if there were none, I would probably get about 30 or 35 analogs a day. So you can consider me a relatively heavy smoker. Everybody tells that it takes a while to get used to PVs, and that one has to experiment different brands and liquids. I have no problem with that, and I can afford to make some investment right now. However, I do have a problem: I am in the US right now but I will be moving out of the country in ONE MONTH. I don't know if I will be able to buy e-cigs supplies in my new country. I probably - but not 100% sure - will be able to have them shipped there, but the international shipping will be expensive. It is a smoke-friendly country, which means there will be few restrictions to buying the stuff internationally but so friendly that nobody is trying to quit - that is why I figured it won't be sold there. So I want to know what I am going to need to take, if possible to maintain me for a year, but at the very least for 3 of 4 months! Here is my current status: I am vaping the blu e-cigs you can buy at Walgreens. So far, I like it. The nicotine dose seems to be adequate, and VG has not irritated my throat too much - though I would like to have some PG or combinations thereof in case I get along better with them. Besides, I am sure there are other combinations I will like even better on the long run. I have bought some cartridge refills but it is pretty obvious already that they don't last long and that it would be too expensive to by a stock of them. Based on recommendations, I have ordered a Joye XL 510 pro kit with 2 bottles of juice (30ml). It should be arriving soon. Obviously, I don't know yet how I am going to like the brand, or the flavors. I also don't know how much those 2 bottles will last. I also tend to lose things, so I may need more batteries. I could probably buy a 3rd brand, like volts (another that is very recommended), to be on the safe side. Can you confirm that the juice is the same for all brands? What do you guys think I should do? Jeffb
Most US companies ship overseas. Where are you moving to?
Viper Ron
Sounds like you want a PV that looks like a cigarette, am I correct?
fabiogaucho
No, no, I am cool with any look. I probably will want to have a 2-piece in the mix since I don't want to have to do a lot of maintenance. I just want to know how much accessories and juice I will need, and whether it is recommendable that I bring more than one brand, whether buying too much liquid at once will bring a chance it will spoil. Essentially, I just to know what I am going to need given the fact that I will be overseas for a year, don't know very much about PVs, and that I don't want to spend a lot of money with international shipping
Jeffb
The reason I ask where you're moving to is that there are many suppliers all over the world. You may not have to pay international shipping fees if you are moving to a country that has a supplier.
Viper Ron
Well as far as batteries go I recommend eGo batts, I have had one nearly a year now and still going strong. As far as the delivery device, do you know what you think you would like, there's cartomizers, atomizers, tanks. Juice is the hardest part, just have to try different types. fabiogaucho
So far I prefer the 2-piece. Is that the cartomizer? As for the batteries, the Joye XL is an eGo, right? As for the liquids, I will buy different flavors, but how long does each 30 ml bottle last?
fabiogaucho
Jeffb: How do I find a list of suppliers by country?
Jeffb
Dont know of a list. Maybe try Google.
fabiogaucho
Ok, lets say you were going to buy a suppy for 6 months. How much juice would that be?
Mike
3 30ml bottles will last me 2 months. There is a thread on how long a 30ml bottle will last, you can look at that to get some ideas, everybody is different but the average is about or more than 2 weeks. kgoallthewaygo
juice wise for me to be set for a year i would say a crap ton! lol but 1 30 mill bottle normally lasts me a month. sometimes its just shy, so for me id get wround 12 30 mill bottles or around 360mill total of juice. as for cartomizers with my tank. the tank lasts forever, but the cartomizers for it last about a week or so with 100% VG and a tad longer with 100% PG. i recommend bobas bounty from alien visions ejuice. its 100% VG and 100% DELICIOUS! lol not many people dislike it. also if u are prone to losing things id recommend a ego usb pass-thru batt and keep it at/with your computer.
