Question For Those Using Joye Batteries

Recommended Posts

Hey, just curious if the Joye ego 650mah batteries have a cut off feature if the button is held down too long. I have some Riva batteries that I've been using that do not have this feature but when I ordered new ones they now have a cut off that gets really annoying. Can someone let me know if the Joye batteries have a kill function?

Thanks!

I just tested my eGo T 1000 mah battery: 10 seconds. I also checked to see how long I usually hold down the button: 3.5 seconds. It's my opinion that if you need to hold the button down for more than 5 seconds you should change your setup.

Thanks for the responses. How would you suggest I alter my setup? I am currently using a Riva 650mah battery with Joye 2.3ohm atomizers. I mostly drip watermelon/apple/kiwi flavors and I've heard that the LR atomizers aren't good with the fruity flavors. The problem with this is that to get a good hit it takes a longer drag...

Thanks.

Have you tried lr attys for dripping? The lr306 has the best flavor and vapor production for me with my regular eGo battery. The Joye 2.3ohm attys I would want to use the Twist battery and twist the voltage up to get similar results. Flavor is not effected much at all unless you over do it with the voltage.

My advice is to try the Twist C battery and also lr306 atty. You will find yourself using the lr306 at the lowest setting and the SR510 attys at the highest. The 650mah batteries are the size of a regular 1000mah battery but they work great.

Thanks for the input. I stopped by the "local" vape shop (about 1/2 hour away) and bought a LR atty today to try and I'm impressed with the results. I was considering buying the twist before I went there but they haven't started stocking them yet, guess I'll have to order online. I also bought an ego c battery because my Rivas are losing power and I figure having an extra battery couldn't hurt. I like the on/off feature on the battery and how the LED changes to blue when it needs a charge. These things have come a long way in the last year! I haven't been in the market for a while but now that I'm looking I'm very impressed with all the advancements.
