I had surgery about a month ago and since then I have been having a lot of stomach pains. I went back to my family doctor and he thinks it is a Ulcer. Never had this issue when I smoked. was wondering if anyone else was having this issue since vaping.

Mine are caused by extensive long term use of NSAID's for all my itis's and Zocor.Vaping doesn't seem to be an issue. My Doc gave me Cytotec to go along with my NSAID's to keep them from eating holes in my gudgeons.Too much coffee will cause stomach problems as well.

sorry to hear about your stomach problems but vaping is definately not the cause.

I did not think it was due to vaping, was just wondering is all. Last Month 3 days before Mother's day I had to go in for surgery. I was told that my biopsy came back showing that cancer cells where found. Well last Friday I went in to find out the results and it was all Pre- Cancerous which is good and that it was all removed.. I was so worried...I go Monday for my CT scan to find out if they find the Ulcer. then next Thursday I see my family Doctor for the results. This pain I have is something that feels like I ate something bad, cramps, and then when I coughed it made it worse. felt like my stomach split in half. I use to drink lots of coffee, but slacked back to about 2-3 cups a day now. I was drinking up to 3 pots a day. I drink a lot of flavored water too, which is good, because I do not like water...

jesus, sorry to hear about all the troubles.

any kidney pain? reason i ask is because i used to get splitting pains in my stomach and eventually it moved back towards my kidney and shortly after i had to have a kidney stone removed.

I do get shooting pain that goes into my right and left kidneys. Not all the time, but I do feel pain back there.

I would suggest that you get as many different doctors/specialists and tests done as possible. Mis-diagnosis is a scary thing and it is very common. Knowing exactly what the problem is will make correcting it that much easier and successful.

I got my CT scan done today. I had to drink a berry smoothy which was really nasty tasting. I told her besides the pain in my stomach I also get pain in both kidneys. She said this test will look at the kidneys too. It will show up all the major organs in that area. I feel comfortable having this test done, because I will find out what is causing this pain and they can diagnose the problem fast. I go Thursday for results from the test i had today.

Good Luck, I too had surgery about a month ago and had the same test done but for Kidney Cancer. That test will tell alot about that region, mine was done for Kidney function.

I had a partial Kidney removed and so far everything is working fine. Still some pain but the Kidney functions are normal. Sorry to hear about your husband and hopefully your tests come out fine.

Went to the Doctor today. He said, my adrenal gland is not a big issue. even thou it is enlarged the tumor is Benign . They are going to send me to a Gastroenteritis for the abdominal pain. they may want to put a tube in my mouth and down into my stomach area to see why I have this pain. thinking it is an ulcer. I did stop the 3 pots of coffee per day. I am now drinking between 1 and 2 cups a day. and I drink flavored water which is really good!!
