doglips
USB pass thought ? OK I'm getting a little frustrated with dead batteries, at the worst time. So Ordered the USB Pass thought for my 801. At least at home I can puff away while batteries charge. But I noticed 2 things that made me go hummm A cigarette Lighter adapter that runs USB devices and a Duracell 1000MaH USB device charger/battery...that runs USB devices for "35 hours". Sooo ?? has anyone tried the USB Car adapters? Does it work with the pass through? Any problems? As long as I'm asking any hints or Tips on using the pass thought? Thanks All. Yes I know about the VP1 and 2, but seems like they are on back order. So hope this holds me over until the supply chain gets caught up with demand. MunkusBFunky
As long as something is rated at 1000 MaH it can be used to power a passthrough, anything below that though and you just bought a mobile charging battery. The atomizer pulls about 1 to 1.5 amps when it ativates, that is why you need the 1000MaH. Kensington, this is what alot of people use to power their passthrough on the go, I believe you can also find them at best buy.

Do they work ok with the USB Pass through? I thought the VP1/2 was only around 400MHA? Edited October 4, 2009 by doglips
MunkusBFunky
Batteries are another matter altogether when it comes to MaH, that basically indicates how long they will run at a certain discharge. I am not completely sure on the science but I do know that unless a USB output says 1000 MaH it won't run your passthrough. ThinkGeek.com, I bought this one hoping it would power my passthrough, as it does not list the MaH output on it. It is only 500 and the light on the end of my passthrough will light up, no vapor at all.
